The video documentary : “UndertheSea: the biodiversity in extreme and remote marine environment in Sicily” was produced by ISPRA in the whole of the Regional Observatory Biodiversity of the Sicilian Region. The images concern areas not well known, as the underwater volcanoes of the Aeolian islands and remote sea bottom of the Strait of Sicily, explored with the ROV (Remotely Operated Vehicle), a guided camera, which can reach up to 500 meters deep, and the MultiBeam, which allows to make detailed bathymetric charts of the seabed in 3D. The amazing spectacular scenarios in the video shows perfectly the environments that the Institutions should protect, in a challenge made more difficult by the many attempts to exploit in incorrect way the island, but that a work like this will can definitely make an important contribution to take care this area.

The Solar System is the gravitationally bound system of the Sun and the objects that orbit it, either directly or indirectly. Of the objects that orbit the Sun directly, the largest are the eight planets, with the remainder being smaller objects, the dwarf planets and small Solar System bodies. Of the objects that orbit the Sun indirectly—the moons—two are larger than the smallest planet, Mercury.
The Solar System formed 4.6 billion years ago from the gravitational collapse of a giant interstellar molecular.

Organic farming is an alternative agricultural system which originated early in the 20th century in reaction to rapidly changing farming practices. Organic farming continues to be developed by various organic agriculture organizations today. It relies on fertilizers of organic origin such as compost manure, green manure, and bone meal and places emphasis on techniques such as crop rotation and companion planting. Biological pest control, mixed cropping and the fostering of insect predators are encouraged. In general, organic standards are designed to allow the use of naturally occurring substances while prohibiting or strictly limiting synthetic substances

Coyote Peterson rarely gets nervous around the animals he encounters and is quite proud that he has never been stung by a scorpion before…but today that’s all about to change! On this episode Coyote is putting himself right in the strike zone and will intentionally take a sting from the Giant Desert Hairy Scorpion; the largest scorpion in North America! Yes that’s right, stung by a scorpion on purpose!
While seemingly foolish and NEVER recommended, the intention of this demonstration will aim to make the point that not all scorpions should be vilified as lethal killers. While it is true that some scorpions are incredibly dangerous the venom from the Giant Desert Hairy is really nothing worse than a bee sting. However, that’s not to say it isn’t creepy and nail biting…hold onto your seat…this episode is intense!
*The Scorpion used in this episode was found in the wild and was released without harm or injury. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO RECREATE THIS VIDEO!
Breaking Trail leaves the map behi nd and follows adventurer and animal enthusiast Coyote Peterson and his crew as they encounter a variety of wildlife in the most amazing environments throughout North America!

Deadly Scorpions
Scorpions are predatory arachnids of the order Scorpiones. They have eight legs and are easily recognized by the pair of grasping pedipalps and the narrow, segmented tail, often carried in a characteristic forward curve over the back, ending with a venomous stinger. Scorpions range in size from 9 mm / 0.3 in. (Typhlochactas mitchelli) to 23 cm / 9 in. (Heterometrus swammerdami).
The evolutionary history of scorpions goes back to the Silurian era 430 million years ago. They have adapted to a wide range of environmental conditions and can now be found on all continents except Antarctica. Scorpions number about 1750 described species, with 13 extant families recognised to date. Only about 25 of these species are known to have venom capable of killing a human being. The taxonomy has undergone changes and is likely to change further, as genetic studies are bringing forth new information.
Scorpion stings are painful but are usually harmless to humans. For stings from species found in North America, no treatment is normally needed for healthy adults, although medical care should be sought for children and for the elderly. More harmful stings from species found in South America, Africa, and western Asia may require medical attention

National Geographic - Arlberg Mountain - New Documentary HD 2018
Arlberg is a mountain range or massif between Vorarlberg and Tyrol in Austria.
The highest peak is the "Valluga" at 2,811 metres (9,222 ft). The name Arlberg derives from the tradition of the "Arlenburg", who are said to have once established themselves on the Tyrolean side of the Arlberg passes (1,793 m above sea level). Another story derives the name from the "Arlenbushes" that are very numerous here. There is no mountain with the name "Arlberg" proper. Popular places and famous ski resorts at the Arlberg are Lech, Zürs, Stuben, St. Christoph and St. Anton.
The name of the state of Vorarlberg is derived from the mountain Arlberg, which is located in front of the Arlberg, from the point of view of the Holy Roman Empire as well as the Swiss Confederation and the castle of the Habsburgs.
