While some Europeans have spurned Jeremy Corbyn's pro-Palestinian ways, others in the EU have been getting an earful! Right, so it’s to nobody’s surprise at all that Israel have significant influence at the top of all manner of political parties and governments, we certainly know that here in this country, with both the government and Rishi Sunak and the opposition led by that Zionist without qualification Keir Starmer both completely beholden to them. Witnessing what we are seeing in Palestine and in the Gaza Strip though, it is now that we need strong leadership to call for a ceasefire and not quislings who’d rather see genocide and Gaza turn into a graveyard for children. It isn’t just this country afflicted by weak leadership though, as sadly it is extending into Europe too. There are politicians out there though on the right side of history, some of the most notable come from Ireland as it happens, if you aren’t familiar with the MEP Clare Daly and her firebrand speeches, then you’re missing out, she gave a belter this week which I’ll come to, because it really is worth paying attention too, but as far as this country and it’s weak leaderships go, well, Brexit or not, we’re still linked to Europe and sadly for as much as a number was done on Jeremy Corbyn, on the right side of history as he is once again, a disinvitation from a left wing think tank event because of the pro Israeli views of the venue, shows Europe have a long way to go to catch up with the wishes of the majority of not just British citizens but European citizens as well. Right, so what’s happened to Corbyn here then Damo? Well, he was due to speak in Berlin on the future of Europe event that was going on this week, Wednesday through Friday, part of the annual Conference, this year called Europe for the Councils’, held by the Rosa Luxemburg Foundation, a German left wing think tank which is closely aligned with the German Die Linke Party. The name literally means ‘The Left’ and is Germany’s Democratic Socialist Party, analogous to what Labour is supposed to be, rather than the paler shade of Tory that’s it’s become under Keir ‘no ceasefire’ Starmer. Unfortunately, the venue for this year’s conference, the Volksbühne Theatre in Berlin, objected to Corbyn’s presence. A spokesperson for the Theatre said: ‘Due to Jeremy Corbyn’s current stance on the Middle East conflict, we have decided not to offer him a public audience at the Volksbühne.’ The issue apparently is because Corbyn is pro Palestinian, in that he wants a ceasefire and he wants to see an end to the occupation of Israel in Palestine, but the Theatre is a little sensitive about this as Germany is still in light of its own occupation past. You can understand things from that perspective, but you still can’t excuse censoring someone and disinviting them on that basis, when all the guy wants to call for is peace. Suella Braverman's 'Blackshirts' have desecrated Armistice Day with their violence at the Cenotaph. She has to go. Right, so for all of Suella Braverman’s performative pretence at giving a damn about remembering our war dead, remembering those who fought and died for our freedoms, for all of her claims that the peace march organised between Hyde Park and the US Embassy today, a full mile from the Cenotaph I might add, the far right instead are the ones who have desecrated the Day. Braverman said the Pro Palestinians, the left wing were the threat to their memories, to this day of armistice, a threat to the sanctity of the day and for all of Rishi Sunak’s sulky statement the other day voicing his disappointment that the Met Police were allowing that peace march scheduled for this afternoon at time of writing to go ahead, no basis for it to have been stopped, with the scenes being witnessed around the Cenotaph as I’m writing this, it’s a damned good job the police were not being deployed to stop the peace march, when the hate mob, when Suella’s black shirts, have already overwhelmed them in Whitehall. Make no mistake, Suella Braverman has incited this, with what she has been saying and what she has been doing, she has been attacked by her own party for that, let alone any opposition parties for her hateful conduct and this is the end result. She must be sacked before the day is out. Right, so the word scum is one heavily contested when applied to politicians, the Tories didn’t much like it when Angela Rayner called them scum, but scum they are when they allow a reprehensible hate figure like Suella Braverman to remain in her post in one of the great offices of state, with the vile hard right rhetoric she is constantly coming out with. Her talk of hate marches, when applied to the rumoured to be record breaking pro Palestine march scheduled for later today as I’m writing this, though with what is happening in Whitehall around the Cenotaph right now, she ought to have looked towards those her words have incited. We knew the far right were coming, social media has been awash with the words of the likes of the English Defence League and the Football Lads Alliance, saying they’ve been ‘called to arms’ and have flocked to London, the excuse of causing a commotion and violence as they always do too much to resist and with the Home Secretary’s comments egging them on, able to be used as reasoning for their backwards, slope-headed thinking, braying ‘England til I die’, they’ve headed to the capital dragging their knuckles all the way. Keir Starmer is using Labour's position in Scotland as a reason to whip his MPs to vote against an SNP ceasefire motion. Right, so the SNP have tabled a motion to be voted on next Wednesday in calling for a ceasefire in Israel and Gaza and vote to take a position of calling for that formally, adopting that as the UK position on this matter. Keir Starmer, that Zionist without qualification, ardently sticking to his pro Israel narrative, vehemently opposed to a ceasefire in favour of humanitarian pauses where aid is allowed in as long as it can be bombed again straight afterwards, isn’t just whipping his MP’s to abstain on this vote, he’s whipping them to vote against it, which will effectively mean voting with the Tories to block this motion, but his reasoning behind this is the most cowardly, craven and self-serving position he could possibly take, because he’s saying he’d rather vote with the Tories than the SNP, because it would harm Labour’s electoral position in Scotland. He’s choosing to weaponise Scotland to oppose a Gaza ceasefire. How much more sick can this man get? Right, so the Scottish vote, Starmer thinks he’s on his uppers in Scotland, presumably based off the back of his victory in Rutherglen and Hamilton West recently, but his position of abject opposition to a ceasefire has put him at odds with Scottish Labour. As much as Labour in Scotland are regarded as little more than a branch office for Westminster, the Scottish Labour leader Anas Sarwar, despite being a Starmerite sort of chap, has publicly called for a ceasefire, so how will he react to Starmer suddenly weaponizing Scotland in order to see off a motion brought by the SNP? As the third party in Westminster, the SNP are allowed to table motions themselves on just 3 days of the year and they’ve chosen to use one of them for this, a motion calling for a ceasefire not only in line with the feelings of the people of Scotland, but the majority of people in the UK as a whole, three-quarters of whom want a ceasefire but that view being woefully underrepresented and ignored by those elected to office. Starmer has already faced significant opposition from within his own party over his stance and he’s still refusing to budge an inch on it, what he wants is what goes, too bad if Labour members and MPs still think their party is a democratic institution, because it isn’t, it’s now ruled by diktat and what Starmer wants, Starmer gets. Well he’s got away with that viewpoint for long enough and something’s got to give. He’s lost upwards of 48 councillors nationwide, lost majority control of one council, lost complete control of another and had one of his frontbench MP’s resign, but he’s also being warned he could be looking at another 10 frontbench resignations if he insists on pushing ahead with this. After a night of assaulting numerous hospitals in Gaza, Israel's alleged evidence for doing so gets debunked. Right, so last night again, Israel have been deliberately targeting hospitals in Gaza, where refugees are assembling, unable to evacuate, sick people, babies in incubators who cannot go and the staff staying behind to treat them, standing by these people though it may cost them their own lives, one small display of humanity where otherwise there is none. The excuses given for these atrocities, for these deliberate strikes against civilian infrastructure, when Israel know that civilians are not just in these buildings, but concentrated in these buildings, is that Hamas are hiding amongst them, and therefore civilian casualties are unavoidable as they defend themselves, though how many of those casualties are acceptable versus the number of Hamas operatives they have successfully targeted they won’t tell us. Airstrikes around the Indonesian Hospital in Gaza, the Al-Nasr Children’s hospital - I’ll say again – children’s hospital was actually hit and more strikes around the Al-Shifa hospital, the largest hospital in Gaza. Israel have attempted to justify this with video proof of what they say is a Hamas tunnel in footage taken of the Sheik Hamad bin Khalifa Hospital for Rehabilitation and Prosthetic Hospital, but as has been the case before, the truth is anything but what the Israeli Defence Force say it is. Right, so yet more targeting of hospitals by Israel in Gaza has taken place, always on the word of the IDF, the Israeli Defence Force, saying there are legitimate targets there and nobody ever seems to question it in our media, it is just accepted that what they are saying is true, but with no attempt being made to avoid civilian casualties, the number of which has already topped 10,000, these are war crimes being carried out, whilst our leaders just sit there in silence and don’t say or do a thing about it. Israel has a right to defend itself they say, despite the fact they are openly bombing a small strip of land where half the population are under 18 and also under their occupation, also a war crime, also against international law, I really don’t see how they can call it self defence when they aren’t fighting back an enemy in their own territories, but there we go. It was early on in the most recent military action, that an IDF spokesperson showed a conversation between two apparent Hamas operatives that turned out to have been two separate conversations clipped together to try and justify the airstrike on another hospital, the Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital, which Israel vehemently denied, yet here we are with several being hit are airstrikes around the area seem designed not to deliberately target Hamas, but more to convince more people to move south, head towards the Egyptian border at Rafah, where they can then be pushed out of Gaza completely into the Sinai and complete the ethnic cleaning that appears to be happening before our eyes, again all under the auspices of rooting out Hamas. The staff member, who is also anational secretary of the Palestine Solidarity Campaign, gets the boot from 'ruthless' Starmer. Right, so nothing quite says I’m on the side of the Jewish community, I’m on the side of Israel quite like sacking a Jewish member of staff for organising a pro-Palestine rally, but this is exactly what Keir Starmer has done this week, because where he might use the term Jewish, we all should know by now that he means Zionist. Under his leadership more Jewish members of the Labour Party have been purged, expelled, than under any other leader, because where Labour speaks of antisemitism, what they really mean is anti-Zionism, and there are plenty of Jewish people in the world who are anti-Zionism, who are against what they are observing happening in Israel, because this isn’t about a dream of a land for Jewish people now, the concept of which in and of itself offends the beliefs of many Jews, but has become synonymous with the eradication and ethnic cleansing of the Palestinian people who are seen as less than human by the apartheid Israeli state. That’s what Zionism in practice became, so it should be opposed. However when one of Keir Starmer’s senior members of staff, Jewish himself organised for Palestine, helped organise a rally for them, that became a sacking offence for the self confessed ruthless Labour leader and Zionist without qualification Keir Starmer. Right, so let’s start with a nod towards that ruthlessness claim of Keir Starmer’s here before we come onto that preposterous and offensive sacking. Starmer has gone on record, in Esquire Magazine no less, saying ruthlessness is a good thing. The bulk of the article is quite nauseating to be honest, there are puff pieces on politicians and there’s this, it’s tea with 8 sugars kind of sickening, yet again we have the old my father was a toolmaker, my mother was a nurse routine, but the one line that makes this article worthy of drawing attention too was Starmer’s attitude towards antisemitism and his treatment of Jeremy Corbyn, because in the article he said ‘Sometimes you have to be ruthless to be a good leader.’ My first instinct was to ask where is this good leader then, I haven’t seen them? But of course he’s talking about himself. Ruthlessness, the dictionary definition of the word, though it’s a word we probably all feel we are familiar with, is: ‘the quality of lacking pity or compassion for others.’ It is literally the opposite of compassion. I think compassion is a good quality for a leader, therefore ruthlessness never can be. Keir Starmer minion Wes Streeting has had a deservedly bad week sticking to the Labour position on Palestine... Right, so for as many Labour MPs have spoken out over Starmer’s nonsense ceasefire stance which will see further deaths in Israel and Gaza, completely avoidable of course with a ceasefire and for as much ire as he has caused within his own party regionally and locally as well, he can always rely on his favourite minion, the ultra-loyal Wes Streeting to support him in whatever he does. But that loyalty to the brylcreemed one comes at a price these days, with Starmer’s position, identical to the Tories as it is, being completely out of kilter with 76% of the general public, the voters, whose votes Labour expects, yet does absolutely nothing to actually appeal to them, votes taken for granted. But if there’s any demographic out there that won’t stand for politicians nonsense and will call it out when they see it, it’s definitely the younger voters and potential future voters, who arguably have never been more politicised by the way the Tories have run the country into the ground, but equally by a Labour opposition, a government in waiting as they like to think of themselves, who aren’t offering anything different either and the kids gave Wesley a message he ought take heed of, though that was just the start of what amounted to be several very bad days for the Red Tory boy… Right, so Wes Streeting, the shiny, sparrow faced shadow Health Secretary and widely seen as the most loyal of Starmer loyalists, well he’s has had a horrible few days I’m sure you’ll be broken hearted to hear. It all began last Friday, it should have been one of those nice constituency jobs, the MP visiting the local school, but it didn’t go down that way at all. You see kids aren’t stupid, they are aware in a way they never have been as a generation before, never having really been ones to buy a newspaper, nor really ones to sit and watch the TV News, but being the generation that has grown up with social media, they absorb what is happening in the world via that medium and its has made them politically aware as a consequence and when Streeting was going to talk at an assembly of some 17-18 year olds, first time voters, or those about to be, their response to him, showed just how well informed they actually are. Streeting was due to address students at Beal High School in Ilford, around 300 of them, but rather than get attentive students hanging on the words of a potential future minister, he got boycotted by many who refused to attend the assembly, or who walked out of the assembly the moment he showed up. He was due to speak as I said, to around 300 students in the senior year, instead, just 20 agreed to go. The school ended up having to send in younger year groups to fill the void. One student went on record as saying: ‘We heard Wes Streeting would be coming down to do a talk on university and personal statements. But as a year group, we wanted to show our support to those in Palestine. Keir Starmer stated he does not support calls for a ceasefire. Sunak can sulk over pesky freedoms people he wants to celebrate fought and died for, but the Met says We WIll March. Right, so it would appear that Rishi Sunak has attempted to have the pro Palestine March in London on Armistice Day stopped, by trying to convince Met Police Commissioner Mark Rowley, to do so, but in uncustomary style for the Met, they’ve told Sunak they will not do that. People still have free speech, freedom of expression and the freedom to protest and to demonstrate for a cause they believe in, is still theirs by right to take. What made this an even weaker action by our spineless Prime Minister is that the Met Police confirmed all of this days ago, yet Sunak has still tried to clamp down on our civil rights again anyway, our protected human rights, to stand up for Palestine, because rich boy Rishi might have told Benjamin Netanyahu that he hope he wins, but the loss of life on the scale we’ve seen in Gaza, the breaches of international law, allegedly as they remain, until properly investigated of course, but the loss of civilian life on the scale we’ve seen it surely makes that a moot point? Yet it is a point that people are horrified by sufficiently that they will march, will stand up and be counted, will take a stand against until our governmental leaders who are supposed to serve us, start listening to what the majority in this country actually want, rather than the interests of their own donors. Right so little Rishi he’s spat the dummy, he’s been stamping his size 13 feet, kids size obviously, because Mark Rowley, the Met Police Commissioner has repeated what the Met Police said days ago, that the pro Palestine March planned for Saturday, on Armistice Day will go ahead, because there is no reason to stop it. Between him and Braverman they’ve claimed offence, they’ve claimed that there will be damage, they’ve claimed there will be violence, they’ve claimed it’ll be in poor taste, but backing a country currently bombing an inescapable strip of land where half the inhabitants are kids, is more than in poor taste to me, it’s utterly depraved and sickening. Sunak is a sunk Prime Minister anyway, he’s done, we’re sick of the Tories and their depravity, but this pro-Israel stance in the face of everything we are witnessing thanks to social media and also foreign media it has to be said, so often so much better than our own billionaire owned press because they present the news instead of trying to make it, we’re more aware of this genocide and the truth of it in real time in a way we’ve never seen before, more awake to the reality than we ever have been before. Keir Starmer isn't putting up with Labour frontbenchers backing a ceasefire, as threats of sackings prompt one to quit! Right, so finally, after weeks of seeing resignations up ad down the country from the Labour party as members and councillors alike quit in disgust at Keir Starmer’s refusal to call for a ceasefire, to stand behind Israel’s right to defend itself, regardless of the atrocities that state itself is committing in Gaza, the Zionist without qualification that he is, has finally been hit by his first frontbench resignation. A significant number of his frontbenchers have defied the party line over Starmer’s ceasefire stance and uncustomarily for Starmer, he hasn’t come down on them like a ton of bricks over it, but then, they’re all his own faction these days, showing not just the unpopularity of his position, but his own weakness and vulnerability in the face of criticism from party allies he can’t afford to lose. But losing them he now might well be. Having relied on them wanting to keep their cushy jobs in spite of disagreeing with him on his position regarding Israel and Gaza, the resignation of Imran Hussain, one of the first of the frontbench to speak out in favour of a ceasefire, arguably setting the tone that others followed, could Starmer now face further resignations as he continues to act in defiance of the will of the British people on this, not interested in what we want, not being his focus as he’s on record as also saying now, not wanting to represent us but rule us is the inference, cracks are finally showing. Will they force him to change his stance, or will he ultimately be brought down in the end as leader of a party increasingly standing against him? Right, so finally, many of us have been asking for weeks, will a resignation ever bloody come, will any of the Labour front bench put their money where their mouths are, because it was all well and good them coming out and calling for a ceasefire – in itself not insignificant given what a dictator Starmer is internally and how hard he cracks down on those daring to dissent, though it was felt that having had 18 frontbenchers sign an Early Day Motion put down by backbench lefty Labour MP Richard Burgon, he would be in significant strife if he started sacking over a dozen people for doing this, for taking a stand to literally end the killing going on in Israel and Gaza rather than just pause for lunch before resuming their bombing as remains his preferred option, at least until Joe Biden and Rishi Sunak inevitably call for a ceasefire at some point, after all, it is the only way the situation will ever be calmed down, though I’d argue with the pandora’s Box of the reality behind Israel motivations and their occupation, the eventual ceasefire should be used as an opportunity to finally get that two state solution resolved and in place. Our far right Home Secretary Suella Braverman's rhetoric regarding ceasefire protests is ensuring they'll be bigger than ever. Right, so you’d probably have to have been living under a rock at this point to not be aware of the bonfire Suella Braverman is trying to light under the planned protest marches across the country that will be happening on Armistice Day this coming Saturday, the disinformation, the hate speech, the fearmongering that she as Home Secretary is stoking up and which our spineless jellyfish of a Prime Minister Rishi Sunak won’t condemn. Her comments will I think, amongst right thinking, compassionate, empathetic people, horrified by what they are witnessing happening in Gaza, encourage even greater turnout than we’ve even seen so far and crowds in London have been amongst the biggest seen in decades in the capital. The most surefire way to get the collective British back up is to tell them not to do something for an unacceptable reason, my fear is though, that as a result of greater numbers and the high profile of this march and the day it is marking, attacks on protesters by the far right that Braverman is encouraging have become all the more likely. Right, so I did a video the other day going over the meaning of Armistice, a word that basically means a ceasefire, arms stoppage being the literal translation from the latin, but this coming weekend on both Armistice Day on Saturday and Remembrance Sunday on of course Sunday, will still see people sporting poppies, a symbol of not only remembrance, but also peace, still refusing to call for a ceasefire in Israel and Gaza. Oh by the way, do you happen to know what the national flower of Palestine is? Yeah, the poppy. So we’re going to see an awful lot of hypocrites this weekend wearing them aren’t we? But Suella Braverman, she’s been driving some hateful rhetoric not that that is anything new, she’s less of a Home Secretary and more the Minister for starting culture wars, still referring to this weekend’s planned events as a hate march. She’s been particularly foul regarding the protest going near to and desecrating the Cenotaph, they national monument to all of those who fought and died for the freedoms we all enjoy, not withstanding the fact Braverman would no doubt strip us all of them in a heartbeat given half a chance. Over and over again she has referred to these pro Palestine demonstrations as hate marches and as we all know, if you repeat something often enough, people, some at least, will believe it. Others will just take it as an opportunity to act on their own racist natures. Braverman kept saying this even after the Met Police themselves briefed her that the demonstration on Saturday, which has been planned for weeks, all the necessary liaising with the police that is always done ahead of these events has taken place, it is still legal to protest though Braverman might wish it otherwise, after the Met Police had told Braverman though, that the demonstration on Saturday was going nowhere near Whitehall, let alone the Cenotaph. Pro Israel paid advocate and Labour NEC member Luke Akehurst spoke at a seminar in London that has caused distress. Right, so Keir Starmer very much has a pro-Israel agenda, Zionist without qualification as we know he is, but he’s come in for significant condemnation of it in light of Israeli attacks on Gaza, 48 Councillors at last count have resigned from the party over his refusal to back a ceasefire, further fallout is on the way over that by the sound of things, with rebel Labour MPs possibly joining with the SNP to bring a motion to parliament to demand a ceasefire and force a vote on it, completely undermining both main party leaders, entirely justifiably in my opinion. Now yesterday I covered an underreported story concerning Labour NEC member and Director of We Believe in Israel Luke Akehurst, who, in his capacity as that Director, allegedly sent emails to labour councillors nationwide urging them to remember what has happened to Israel, the deaths occurring in Israel and if people had to be pro Palestinian about it, to do so in a manner that did not come across as anti-Israel. Akehurst is paid to advocate for Israel of course, it’s his day job, he isn’t impartial on this, yet there seems to be a blurring of the lines insofar as his employed conduct versus his elected position are concerned. However whilst that video was being made yesterday, Akehurst himself was engaged in yet more pro Israel advocacy indicating a not insignificant level of pushing Israel’s interests in the Labour Party going on behind the scenes… Right, so yesterday I covered Akehurst apparently sending out these emails to Labour councillors and the question I raised was how had he obtained that data in order to do that? I have had responses from numerous people to say they’ve had that email, that they’ve questioned it too, they’ve questioned what right Akehurst had to do this and I won’t go into the exact responses they got, in case that ends up exposing certain individuals to Labour’s Governance and Legal Unit, let’s just say nobody I’ve spoken to on it, was particularly happy with the reply. But whilst all of this was going on, whilst I was making that video, Akehurst was in London, attending the London Councillors Seminar 2023, sounds somewhat innocuous, but when you realise it was organised jointly by the Board of Deputies of British Jews, The London Jewish Forum and the Jewish Leadership Council, there’s a very pro-Zionist flavour to it, this is what the seminar was concerned with, Zionism, Israel, how councillors should conduct themselves in a way that those sponsoring the event would like. The Board of Deputies are well known now, as a pro Israel, largely Conservative group that purports to represent all British Jewry, though an awful lot of Jews will dispute that. After asking Starmer to resign, Burnley Labour group get a reply saying 'I'm not interested in what you want.' So half of them quit. Right, so it was only in the last couple of weeks that we saw Labour lose majority control of Oxford City Council as eight of their councillors quit the party over Keir Starmer’s ardent pro Israel, anti-ceasefire stance. Labour have managed to cling onto control there however as a minority though. Then last week, as I covered in another video, a letter came from the Labour Council leaders of Burnley Borough Council and Pendle Borough Council calling on Starmer to step down as Labour leader so that someone else can lead the party, better able to actually lead on the issue of Israel and Palestine, but over the weekend things have escalated further in Burnley and Labour have now lost control of that council completely as it is hit by another slew of resignations there. With no change in his stance and none likely to come any time soon, just how much more damage to the Labour movement is the refusal to back a ceasefire going to cause to Starmer and his allies? Right, so Burnley Borough Council. It was only last week they penned a joint letter with Pendle Borough Council calling on Keir Starmer to stand down and allow a leadership election to take place, Starmer blatantly incapable of leading the party full stop in my mind, but for them the red line was Israel and Palestine and his refusal to take a lead there, instead being content to let the Tories and Joe Biden dictate Labour’s position, a position one Labour MP has already said will change the minute the Tories or Joe Biden do. Well, they’ve had zero response it would seem, because things have escalated over the weekend, seeing 11 Burnley Councillors now quit the party over this issue, that is literally half of their Councillors and with it, goes control of the Council. With 45 seats on Burnley Borough Council, having 22 of the Councillors meant Labour had a substantial majority, but with 11 now going Independent, the Labour contingent is reduced to just 11 Councillors now, the Independent Group on the Council now the largest group who may be able to put together an administration with 13 Councillors. The Tories, the Lib Dems and the Greens have 7 Councillors each. Those resigning from Labour included Council leader and signatory to that resignation letter to Starmer, Afrasiab Anwar. They’ve put out a statement justifying their decision saying: ‘Since the outset of the violence in Gaza/Israel, we, as a collective, have consistently used our roles as councillors to advocate on behalf of our communities to bring peace by urging the leadership to call for a release of all hostages and an immediate ceasefire. We strongly condemn the loss of any innocent life without reservation. Every life holds equal value and indiscriminate bombing and collective punishment of innocent civilians is a clear violation of international law. NEC member and We Believe In Israel Director Luke Akehurst has apparently emailed 'instruction' to Councillors over Israel and Gaza. Right, so for as much as Keir Starmer is giving the impression right now that he doesn’t care what Labour Councillors say on the matter of a ceasefire, doesn’t care what members say, doesn’t care how many of them quit the party because of his refusal to take a stand against more civilian deaths, which is what refusing to back a ceasefire ultimately amounts to, behind the scenes, Labour might well be panicking a little bit and the reason I think they might be panicking a little bit is because an email has apparently been sent out to councillors by We Believe in Israel, the pro-Israel advocacy company, a branch of BICOM, the British Israel Communications and Research Centre, who are basically Israel lobbyists funded by the Israeli state. We Believe in Israel’s Director is a certain Luke Akehurst, a rabid right winger who has publicly scoffed at some the councillors to have quit the party on his home turf of Oxford City Council over Starmer’s ceasefire stance and who happens to sit on Labour’s National Executive Committee as one of the staunch Starmer supporting lot. Well this email, allegedly sent out from We Believe in Israel to Labour Councillors, apparently from Akehurst himself, pretty much telling them not to criticise Israel as is entirely justifiable to do right now, but the question I want to know is, having had this email passed onto me, did every Labour Councillor get sent this? Since if that is the case, since when did being a Labour member, or elected official even, automatically put you on We Believe in Israel’s mailing list? Has Akehurst broken GDPR rules over this? Right, so Pro-Israel cheerleader, though I really don’t want to picture him in a short skirt and pom poms, Luke Akehurst of the Labour Party NEC, but in his role as Director of We Believe In Israel, has apparently sent out an email that has been passed to me, which seems to be an attempt to reach out to councillors the country over, assuming it has been sent to them all, I don’t know that, it may only be ones on the We Believe in Israel mailing list, but to be on their mailing list, you’d have to be of a pro-Israel persuasion already and the content of the email implies to my mind an attempt to reach out beyond that. This to me looks like an attempt, albeit a weak one, to try and do some damage limitation as more and more councillors seemingly on a weekly basis, quit the Labour Party to become Independents, disgusted at Keir Starmer’s refusal to back a ceasefire. Keir Starmer deflects from discussing any ceasefire red lines by repeating Israel has a right to defend itself. At any cost it seems. Right, so Keir Starmer is still falling over himself it appears in his pursuit of a humanitarian pause, instead of actually calling for a ceasefire as he’s been asked what would it take for him to back a ceasefire, what are his red lines even as some examples of Israeli atrocity are presented to him and it appears that he doesn’t have any, which is incredibly dangerous, an awful thing to say, this man that could be in power in the none too distant future saying to Israel right now, they can do what they like and he won’t budge an inch on his chosen position, despite being out of kilter with not only the majority of the general public, but with the majority of his own party as more and more members, and Labour groups add their voice to the growing list of people demanding a change in tack from Keir Starmer, even to the point calls for him to resign have now been made. Could anything make him shift his stance? Well my first thought on this was the wind changing, but that hasn’t been the case on this as it has been on so many other issues, but at least one Labour member nails exactly what it would take and it isn’t something any of us or even Labour members could deliver. Right, so Keir Starmer is still refusing to back a ceasefire even as calls for him to do so continue to increase, the latest example coming from Newham Borough Council, again Labour controlled, where more than half of the ruling Labour group and the Mayor demanding an immediate ceasefire, diplomacy for lasting peace and freedom and justice for Gaza. They’ve written to Starmer saying: ‘As Newham Labour Mayor and Councillors we are proud to represent one of the most diverse communities in the country. We are appalled and saddened by the events in the Middle East. Some of us have been personally touched by the war, some of us will represent residents whose lives have been thrown into turmoil and chaos or will watch on in horror. As community leaders it is incumbent on us to demonstrate our commitment to humanity in the face of horror. We must stand with our community in the face of racism whether that be antisemitism or lslamophobia. We must oppose all acts of murder and hostage taking. We stand against collective punishment and killing of vulnerable people especially in hospitals and places of sanctuary. We call for the following actions: We join many other Labour councillors and council leaders, MPs, Labour Shadow Ministers, London Mayor Sadiq Khan, Sir Stephen Timms MP and others in calling for an immediate ceasefire. We join the UN Secretary General’s call for an end to the blockade of medical supplies and much needed aid. We call for the release of all illegally held prisoners and hostages. We call for international and human rights laws to be upheld particularly with regards to the illegal occupation of both Gaza and the West Bank. Where both blue and red Tories condemn the idea of protest at Armistice, they show they themselves have forgotten what it is for. Right, so protesting on Armistice Day, for Palestinians, how dare people even think about doing that so say the likes of Rishi Sunak and Suella Braverman, a woman who has likened such protests to hate marches already, I would have thought she would recognise one of those when she saw one really, she goes on one every time she leaves for work. But various media talking heads and of course the people they invite on to comment on such things who are in no way impartial themselves to speak on such things, convey the same message, hammering it home, this wrong and this deliberate reinforcement of what amounts to a proto-fascist form of messaging will sink in to those being brainwashed by it. All of these people are being deliberately ignorant of history and deliberately ignorant of the meaning of Armistice Day, in their actions. Protesting on Armistice Day is not a hate march, is not in bad taste given what is happening in Israel and Gaza but actually, there are few other days that it could be more appropriate. Right, so Armistice Day is coming around again, the 11th of November as it always is, sometimes coinciding with, but not always with Remembrance Sunday, which this year is the 12th, but it’s not just about remembering those who fought and died to save us and preserve our rights and our freedoms, this day, which marks the end of World War I, is also about that very important, very relevant word that is armistice. The dictionary definition of armistice is ‘a formal agreement between two countries or groups at war to stop fighting for a particular time, especially to talk about possible peace.’ It comes from the latin arma meaning arms and stitium, meaning stoppage, so the literal meaning of the word is arms stoppage. A ceasefire then, aimed at peace, the word used to mark the day World War I ended as talks and politics and peace brought the violence to an end. Everyone right now calling for a ceasefire in the Middle East therefore, is calling for armistice, so why is it that those of us wanting to see that ceasefire are being called haters? Are being told when we go and protest that we’re marching for hate? Are being told that to march for a ceasefire, to march for an end to the atrocities happening right here and right now, is disrespectful? Rishi Sunak has issued a statement espousing this very thinking saying: ‘To plan protests on Armistice Day is provocative and disrespectful and there is a clear and present risk that the Cenotaph and other war memorials could be desecrated, something that would be an affront to the British Public and the values we stand for. The right to remember, in peace and dignity, those who have paid the ultimate sacrifice for those freedoms must be protected. Labour leaders in two Labour run Councils tell Starmer to go as tensions escalate over his ceasefire stance. Right, so Keir Starmer has caused so much anger within his party now, that matters have escalated to calls for him to resign. He has for weeks now staunchly stood by Israel’s right to defend itself, or defend herself as he puts it, the lobbyists line, backed Israel in committing war crimes before denying he ever said it, never apologising. He tried to make things better by going to a Muslim Centre and telling them to hand over the hostages, but not all Muslims are Hamas, or even Palestinian, and he caused more anger over his politicisation of that event, the centre having no clue this is what he’d later say. He never apologised for that either. He then went to Trevor Chinn funded Chatham House, the pro-Israel Blairite Labour donor Trevor Chinn. Starmer himself of course is Trevor Chinn funded, Chinn funds all manner of other pro Israel Labour politicians and institutions and is a chair of the Jewish Leadership Council. At Chatham House Starmer went on to give a speech again reinforcing Israel’s right to do what it is doing, refused to be drawn on whether they are committing war crimes or not, though of course had no problems not long ago accusing Putin on live TV of being a war criminal. 20 times as many civilians have been killed in 3 weeks in Gaza as have been killed in the entire Russia Ukraine conflict. So little wonder the calls for him to go have increased to the point we’re now at and still he won’t budge. Right, so if Keir Starmer was hoping his ongoing interventions were going to calm things down and he’d get away with his pro-Israeli anti-ceasefire, his let’s give Gaza aid as long as Israel can target it attitude, then he’s very much mistaken as if anything things have continued to escalate. At least 36 Labour Councillors have now quit the Party and the more Starmer seems to come out and say on the matter the worse he makes things for himself and that’s no surprise really when his narrative never changes, he is still staunchly standing by Israel against Hamas and oh dear never mind the Palestinian civilians caught up in the crossfire, hi will not call for a ceasefire to help them, he seems to think we will believe him if he tells us everyone downing their weapons will lead to even more violence. He takes us for fools. A poll of Labour councillors yesterday showed that some 43% of them are dissatisfied with the Party position on Israel and Palestine, with some 37% of them satisfied with it. That’s especially notable when you consider Starmer has been purging the left from the party for years and Party representation, much like it’s membership will have become skewed rightwards over time, so it’s not like this is an obvious indicator of left wing disgust, this is across the party left to right. France brings a Bill to legally ban anti-Zionism - anti Israel speech - with sentences of hefty fines and imprisonment. Right, so the French government seem to be looking at the fawning sycophancy in the UK in relation to the state of Israel and the war crimes it is committing against Gaza and thinking, we can be even more sycophantic than that, by putting forward a proposed law to punish anyone criticising Israel and would effectively outlaw anyone daring to speak out against Zionism. You can say what you like about he French in France, insult their country up one side and down the other and although you’d be making an absolute tit of yourself, you wouldn’t be breaking any laws. Do likewise about Israel though, and you could end up fined or even imprisoned if this law ends up on their statute books. This perversion of sucking up to a racist, apartheid state has to end and where other countries are leading the way on this, with more joining them, Western countries are embarrassing themselves in their devotion to the indefensible, their cold, callous indifference as a result, to the masses of civilian deaths we’re seeing in Palestine at Israeli hands. This is shameless inhumane posturing right up there with the UK proposed laws to outlaw Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions towards Israel, equally pathetic and just as out of touch with the public. Right, so what the French government are proposing here is absolutely unreal, they’re going to try and make anti-Zionism illegal. Zionism is a deeply unpleasant doctrine, we’re seeing it play out now in Gaza, we’ve witnessed its effects for the last 75 years including and since the Nakba, their right to an ethno-national state for Jewish people at the expense of the people who were already there. Little wonder that yesterday, on the 106th anniversary of the signing of the Balfour Declaration that basically told Zionists they could have such land, the foreign office got graffitied with all manner of well, justifiable slogans lets call them, on what somebody thought of Balfour. But now France are going to make it illegal to speak out against Israel in effect, because of course everything they do, they are doing they say, in the name of protecting themselves and their security and their right to exist, ignoring any such sense of security and right to exist for Palestinians. Zionism is an inherently racist ideology. I can still say that in this country as things stand, you might not be able to for much longer in France. So what exactly are they proposing then Damo? Keir Starmer has suddenly discovered Islamophobia Awareness Month just as he needs to win back Muslim voters. Right, so Keir Starmer has discovered it is Islamophobia Awareness month this month and this is remarkable not just because this will be the fourth Islamophobia Awareness Month since he became leader and this is the first time he’s ever acknowledged it, but because it comes hot on the heels of his Chatham House speech where he again has ruled out a ceasefire in the ongoing atrocities being committed in Gaza, unpopular and tin-eared to the point he had to scuttle out of the back door and straight into his car amidst protesters yelling murderer at him. Regular viewers will know that Starmer’s stance is in direct opposition not just to 89% of the British public, but to Labour mayors up and down the country, to the Scottish Labour leader and of course there have been numerous resignations from the party of Labour councillors sickened by his unashamed pro-Israel stance and his refusal to join calls to end the death tolls. Starmer put out a video supporting Islamophobia Awareness month, he has been rinsed on social media over it, not least because, by posting it on the 1st of November it came the day after Israeli air strikes targeted a refugee camp in Gaza, but because an hour after her posted it, Israel targeted that refugee camp again. His praise for Islamophobia Awareness Month comes despite no call for a ceasefire still and while it is still fresh in our minds he had already weaponised an Islamic Centre in South Wales for his own political ends too. He’s doing it again here, he’s desperate to win back lost Muslim votes whilst still not changing his stance on Israel. Right, so Keir Starmer in another ill-advised act has put out a video praising Islamophobia awareness month, something that will add to the upset he’s caused, the blatant cynicism it has invoked in people and continue to upset Muslim communities up and down the country and those supporting the plight of Palestinians in Gaza as they get bombed no matter where they are, be they in the north, where they’ve been ordered to evacuate to the south whether they can or can’t. Be they targeted en route southwards, whether they are actually in the south, I think targeting them there was to force Egypt to open the Rafah border crossing – also bombed - rather than let fellow Muslims die whilst cornered, but they’ve also bombed churches, hospitals, mosques and refugee camps, there is literally nothing they won’t target, multiple breaches of the Geneva Conventions and international law as a result which just isn’t getting called out strongly enough. The US the UK, the EU, all are complicit in their tacit support and silence, not upholding international law, but upholding Israel as an exception to it, the calls to hold them accountable coming from South America, and other Middle Eastern countries, such as Yemen, who are threatening attacks on Israel now, or Qatar and it has to be said as far as media sources go in covering the events there, Qatari based al-Jazeera is pretty much second to none right now. A 6 year old article in far right settler publication Ribonut, or Sovereignty, has exposed Israel's plans to depopulate Gaza. Right, so in a recent video I spoke about a leaked Israeli Ministry of Intelligence document which spelt out a number of options before Israel on how to deal with Hamas and the Palestinian civilians living in the Gaza Strip, whether to allow the Strip to be governed by the Palestinian Authority of the West Bank, whether to let the people of Gaza govern themselves, or the third and preferred option for Israel, which was to send all Palestinians into the Sinai. All of these options were of course being developed in a bid to root out and deal with Hamas, but the obvious conclusion to anyone paying the slightest bit of attention to social media and alternative media outlets is that the minute the Gazans are in Egypt, there’s no way in hell Israel will let them back into Gaza afterwards. I’ve said it since these latest atrocities began almost a month ago now, this this is a land grab. The leaked memo appears to have borne that out, but an article passed onto me dating from 2017 shows Israel have been planning this for a lot longer and there’s no pretence at various options or dealing with Hamas here, they want the Gaza Strip for Israel, it’s planned ethnic cleansing and we’re bearing witness to it now. Right, so I did a video on the smoking gun of a leaked Israeli Ministry of Intelligence document, a 10 page piece detailing the options before the Israeli state in dealing with Hamas, with the bit setting off alarm bells being the evacuation of all Palestinians into the Sinai Desert of Egypt, where there is no way on Earth, that Israel would ever let the Palestinians back afterwards. It’d be in effect a second Nakba on the basis of taking out Hamas and once done, Israel would just take over Gaza and slam the door on the Rafah border crossing. 2.2m people suddenly becoming Egypt’s problem and soon after a problem for the rest of the world. You are kidding yourself if you believe otherwise if Israel succeed in depopulating Gaza, there’s enough history of Palestinians being shut out of their homeland the first time around, this time it is happening with the blessing of too many western countries, sadly including this one. An alleged Israeli MInistry of Intelligence document sent to Israeli magazine Mekomit, purports to show the plans they have for Gaza. Right, so whenever you want to know what a government is really up to, news of a leak of their intentions to the media is often the most revealing and allegedly leaked documents from the Israeli Ministry of Intelligence might have just told the world what Benjamin Netanyahu’s actual plans for the Gaza Strip are and it should probably surprise nobody at this point that it amounts to yet another land grab. According to these documents, Israel wants to push the 2 million civilian inhabitants of the Gaza Strip over the border and into the Sinai desert in Egypt. The plan according to this, is to depopulate Gaza. Right, so is it so hard to believe that Israel’s endgame here is to depopulate Gaza? I don’t think so. You don’t even have to go back any further than the events of the 7th October to see that. The indiscriminate bombing, the alleged rescue of hostages that for some reason involves bombing churches and hospitals, the targeting of Hamas in their tunnels, though airstrikes hardly seem to be the best solution if they’re hiding underground, also make your minds up Israel are they in tunnels or hiding in civilian infrastructure. Can’t decide which, or don’t actually care? We keep hearing about the numbers of civilians who have died, numbering in the thousands, almost half of whom are children, but pray do tell how many Hamas operatives have been killed or captured? That’s a stat I never hear. Funny that. At any rate, the Israeli Ministry of Intelligence it would appear have a leak because their plans for Gaza at the end of the day might have just been exposed. A 10 page document has been leaked to the Israeli magazine Mekomit, you might imagine an Israeli publication wouldn’t run such a story, however Mekomit are a joint enterprise of Israeli and Palestinian journalists, citizen journalism as they call it, so they’re very much an alt media kind of a source, their about page states they are committed to democracy, are resisting the occupation, to be honest reading up on them it made me wonder why Benjamin Netanyahu has allowed them to persist, but at any rate, they’re no friends of the regime and that’s likely why they ran this story and indeed this information was leaked to them and their man Yuval Avraham, a chap who’s personal bio on the site says he’s all about a ‘dream of justice and equality for all the inhabitants of the country, between the river and the sea’ which apparently is an antisemitic thing to say amongst the idiot politicians we keep electing in this country. So ten pages of this document, I’d seen a few passages translated on social media, because the website of Mekomit is in Hebrew as is the leaked document, but thank goodness for google translate! One downloaded PDF and translation later and I have the whole thing in English. Left wing world leaders condemn Israeli atrocities where other leaders fail to, too many of them are too close to the regime. Right, so whilst our leaders here insult our intelligence, pretend international law isn’t getting broken indiscriminately by Israel and frankly come out with vomit inducing levels of excuses and sycophancy for the apartheid state, there are world leaders calling this out. The first rumbles of this were coming from Spain as their Minister of Social Rights and General Secretary of Podemos, Ione Belarra called out Israel in recent weeks, most recently telling the pro-Israeli European Union to cut ties with Israel amidst the atrocities going on. But she’s not alone and some other world leaders have gone a damn sight further, cutting ties and recalling their ambassadors, standing against the apartheid state, saying enough is enough and refusing point blank to entertain their excuses and let their atrocities slide any further. Right so whilst our main party leaders seemingly contort themselves into whatever position they think makes them most attractive to the apartheid regime of Benjamin Netanyahu, other leaders, better leaders frankly, we do keep letting ourselves be led by the least amongst us as they are not only calling Israel out for the atrocities they are committing, but are following that up with action too. Ione Belarra was one of the first to garner public attention to the fact some politicians in the West were actually condemning Israel, when just the other day she took on the European Union’s pro-Israel attitudes, denouncing them utterly and saying in no uncertain terms that Netanyahu should be at the International Criminal Court. Absolutely, drag him to The Hague. Like here and many other countries Spain has held demonstrations against Israel, in solidarity with Palestine, and on one such March a few days ago, Belarra said: ‘Today we are here accompanying the people of our country and also all of those who are demanding that this planned genocide, this ethnic cleansing of the Palestinian people done by the state of Israel end once and for all. We think all European leaders, including ours, are not up to the task or don’t grasp the severity of the circumstances. We don’t want to be complicit in this planned genocide and we think Europe has to act urgently. I think Europe is going to pay dearly, very dearly for this hypocrisy. Israel have admitted to bombing the Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza, killing hundreds, just to get one Hamas leader. Right, so yesterday Israel, in it’s pursuit of Hamas, they say, have bombed a refugee camp in northern Gaza. Yep, refugee camp. Hundreds dead allegedly because an Hamas commander was hiding there, in complete contravention of the Geneva Convention, specifically Article 51, which covers the protections of a civilian population. Israel have admitted to this, it’d be pretty hard to excuse their actions given the size of the crater left behind right in the middle of where that refugee camp was. 400 innocent Palestinians have been killed by Israel, who felt this level of force to bring down one person was justified, because they had told these people to go south. Anyone justifying Israeli atrocity on this scale is truly depraved, so sadly enter both the Tories and Labour, who have both defended this. A vote for either of these pro Israeli Parties, is a vote for more innocent blood to be spilled. We need to oppose this, it’s basic humanity to say we do not support this. We don’t seem to have such people in power or getting ready for it. Right, so last time Israel were implicated in targeting civilians, that al-Ahli Baptist church, their defenders said it couldn’t be Israel because there was no big hole in the ground where Israel’s superior weaponry would have hit. Well, here’s a big hole in the ground and this is a refugee camp so defend this one then. 400 dead, Medecins Sans Frontieres reported that large numbers of wounded people have been moved to the al-Shifa hospital, including young children with deep wounds and severe burns, many having lost their parents and being sole survivors, though there have been reports of entire families having been wiped out in the attack. One aid worker pulled a newborn baby from its dead mothers arms. Israel would have you believe that targeting such a refugee camp is entirely justified. US News Channel CNN have been doing a BBC frankly bending over backwards for Israel, but they weren’t quite prepared for Israel to admit what they’d done on live TV as Israeli Defence Force Spokesman Lt Col Richard Hecht, a man who was born near Glasgow incidentally, so giving off very strong settler vibes confirmed what they’d done. When asked by CNN’s Wolf Blitzer if Israel in fact did go ahead and drop bombs on Jabalia, knowingly on innocent civilians to get to this Hamas commander allegedly hiding there, Hecht replied: ‘That’s not what you’re hearing, we again focused on this commander, you’ll get more data on who this man was, they killed many, many Israelis. We’re doing everything we can, it’s a very complicated battle space, that could be infrastructure there, that could be tunnels there and we’re still looking into that.’ No answer to the question, so Blitzer asked again: ‘But you know there are a lot of refugees, a lot of men, women and children in that refugee camp as well right?’ Hecht, shaking his head in the video footage, answered: ‘This is the tragedy of war Wolf. I mean we as you kow have been saying for days, move south. Labour lefty Andy McDonald has been suspended by Keir Starmer for saying something at a pro Palestine rally, that he never said! Right, so for all of those Labour figures that have spoken in favour of a ceasefire now, from various metro mayors, to MP’s even shadow cabinet ministers, now including even the shadow secretary of state for justice – there’s an irony – Keir Starmer has thusfar only suspended one MP from the Party and of course, as you might have guessed it, was a lefty member of the Socialist Campaign Group that got suspended. Even now when Starmer is on his backside over his pathetic position that promotes anything but peace, he can’t help but blatantly and factionally attack those left wingers remaining in his party the moment he sniffs an opportunity to do so, but what makes this one even more ridiculous is that the MP in question, Andy McDonald, has been suspended over something he never said! Right, so what’s the craic then Damo? What did Andy McDonald say and what is he accused of saying? Well we’re back to that phrase again, that some are calling antisemitic, some are calling hate speech, the phrase ‘from the river to the sea, Palestine will be free.’ Andy McDonald stands accused of saying it, yet actually he didn’t. But even if he had, it’s not anything like the pro-Israel lobbyists make it out to be. What is so scary about that phrase? What is so racist about it anyway? Nothing. It simply means from the River Jordan in the East, to the Mediterranean in the West, Palestine will be free. Let’s face it, they aren’t free, if you watch me regularly I’ve done enough content on this over thew last couple of weeks that I’d hope nobody disputes the fact these people in Gaza and in the West Bank are very much not free and they are Palestine. The only people who could possibly be frightened by that phrase are those who would keep these people oppressed, who would keep them imprisoned in the worlds largest concentration camp that is the Gaza Strip, to be against that phrase is to be against basic rights of freedom, so if you are against that phrase, if you are saying it is wrong or it is racist, or it is a message of terror, then I have nothing but the utmost contempt for you, what a foul individual you must be and I count so many of our own politicians amongst that, Keir Starmer the obvious one, the likes of Peter Mandelson who dared compare this morning on GMB that the fight against Hamas was exactly like the fight against the IRA and that peace was only achieved in Northern Ireland because the IRA were defeated. No, they got around the table, the Good Friday Agreement did that, but how dare you compare the two situations especially when you were elbows deep in Blairs administration at the time and damn well know different you hollow husk of a man. Keir Starmer defies national opinion, common sense and any semblance of peace, opposing a ceasefire in today's speech. Right, so Keir Starmer has given a speech at Chatham House this morning, intended to clarify his position and head off further dissent and resignations within his party over the resolute stance of many that a ceasefire is needed now and should be called for now and that Keir Starmer is wrong for not having done this already and in fact has completely resisted the idea. Starmer’s position up until now has been to utterly reject the notion of a ceasefire, to ignore those who are refusing to adopt his position in this matter, and when you consider that includes not just his own MPs and Labour members along with councillors up and down the country, but the Scottish Labour leader, the London Mayor, West Yorkshire Mayor, Manchester Metro Mayor have all come out against Starmer’s narrative. The party is splitting as he resolutely stands by Israel in this matter as he does in all their matters and this speech offered no sign that that is going to change. He is destroying Labour with his dedication to apparently destroy more lives in the Middle East. Right so Starmer giving a speech, given he’s the human form of sleeping tablets, it’s rarely something to look to and voluntarily watch, but I’ve propped my eyeballs open with cocktail sticks on your behalf to see it through. But in all seriousness, this was a speech coming after days of social media silence from Sir Kid Starver, on the very subject he was being most silent on, knowing that his position is wrecking the party, but it's his party, he always tells us that, it’s his party, so he’ll do what he wants and if you don’t like it there’s the door. That was his attitude a few months ago, it’s still his attitude now. Right, so Keir Starmer’s speech, it was never one that was going to come out on the side of Palestinians and in that he didn’t disappoint, You weren’t allowed to take a Palestinian flag to Labour conference, even before October 7th of course, you can get suspended for saying from the river to the sea, and of course there’s the Israel lobby and their donors, who funded his leadership campaign and who he owes now. It makes the start of the speech all the more notable, since he acknowledged the atrocities that had been conducted and the carnage left behind, the bodies, dead children and he acknowledges them on both sides, so he can actually see the whole picture. He spoke of misinformation, well, you’d know, you acted on that to suspend one of your own MPs, Andy McDonald. Well he went on to talk about the 7th October, where the biggest slaughter of Jews since the Holocaust happened in Israel, committed by Hamas but according to Starmer, that’s why they were killed. Israeli’s were killed because they were Jews and not because they were the overseers of a concentration camp? You bring religion into this to hide behind? You do know that although Judaism is the main religion in Israel it isn’t the only one right? Gaza is on fire. Israel lit it up allegedly chasing terrorists. A ceasefire was vetoedby Western leaders. Will you stand up for Palestine? Right, so a night we feared was coming, the images that have come out of Gaza, a land that has literally been set on fire as Israel finally sent ground troops in amidst the heaviest bombardment yet seen since conflict flared up once more on October 7th. Last night Israel cut off the power, plunging Gaza into darkness, very difficult to film a genocide in the dark after all. They also silenced those trapped within this concentration camp, for what other description is there when outside the walls are the controls to power, food, fuel, water and medicines and you cannot come and go as you wish and you are regarding as beasts and animals instead of human? They silenced them by cutting off all outside communications, cutting off the last communications tower and as such cutting off the internet and rendering mobile phones useless. We could have called for a ceasefire. People around the globe have demanded a ceasefire. The UN Security Council had a resolution before it to pass a ceasefire and impose it under international law, yet the US vetoed it and we the UK abstained. None of our leaders did this in our name though, so lets tell them as such. They have shamed all of us, they have blood on their hands, they are all unfit for office and they all need to go. Right, so overnight things escalated in the Gaza Strip as inevitably they would. We knew they would push things as far as they felt they could get away with and with Western leaders constantly gushing their support for the apartheid regime, they felt confident that whatever they did, they could get away with. And so the power got cut off to Gaza, plunging them into darkness. Hospitals will have been relying on generator power assuming they had enough fuel as things stood to keep them running in order to treat people. Assuming they weren’t being targeted by Israel like the al-Ahli Baptist hospital was. I’ve not heard of any hospitals being hit last night, I have heard that there were near misses. Over the last few days some 3000 children have been killed. They aren’t Hamas, they’re just the victims of the indiscriminate attacks by Israel who aren’t really targeting Hamas, they’re just hitting anything still standing. How else do you account for so many civilian casualties? Some 1600 people are apparently still trapped under rubble, their fates unknown. The hospitals that have survived the attacks? They aren’t being described as treating people right now, they’re being described as refrigerators. They’ve become more use as body storage. This isn’t my assessment either, this is a Palestinian delegate speaking to the United Nations. All communications were cut off as well because nothing says intent to commit war crimes like gagging your victims. For as much as hospitals might have remained functional, there’s a reason they might have become body storage more than treating people, because without communications, who can call an ambulance? Dissent in the Labour ranks finally as a dozen shadow ministers back calls for a ceasefire despite Starmer still saying no. Right, so despite the fact there are estimated to be in the region of half a million people demonstrating in London alone today in favour of Palestine, especially poignant after the night of sheer terror citizens of the Gaza Strip have endured overnight, having been bombarded ceaselessly, white phosphorus again having been deployed, and the senseless shelling of residential areas and public service buildings all under the guise of hitting Hamas, an excuse frankly which is becoming harder and harder to swallow by more and more people, and that’s despite Western media and leaders still backing the oppressors over the oppressed. Few politicians have been more sycophantically sickening than Labour leader Keir Starmer and his unquestioning absolute support for the Israeli state no matter what and despite those protests going on today a statement has come out from his spokesperson reiterating this, but behind all of that the cracks are starting to show. Where one shadow minister had dared speak out against Starmer’s Labour position and voicing support for Palestine, that number has now grown to twelve shadow ministers at time of writing. So far, Starmer has not sacked anyone, but will he allow this dissent to stand, undermining his own authority, or will he finally accept he’s on the wrong side of this and does it matter when he’s resisted that for so long? Is it too late for him now and is that why some are finding the spine to oppose his senseless, inhumane diktat? Right, so protests and demonstrations in favour of Palestine are happening up and down the country today and with estimates of up to half a million people in London alone showing solidarity with Palestine in the face of genocide, this looks to be the biggest call to our politicians of both sides who are still resolutely standing by Israel despite the death and destruction they are raining down on innocent civilians, that we aren’t putting up with it, that we expect better, that they have it wrong and above all, that they do not speak for us in this matter. Despite all of that though, at least one leader is refusing point blank to budge an inch on this, is still resolutely standing by Israel, taking the side of the coloniser, the oppressor and as much as the attacks by Hamas are rightly and justifiably condemnable, the counter offensive mounted by Israel is utterly inhumane, completely disproportionate and amounts to little more than ethnic cleansing and genocide, as if Hamas just gave them the excuse to do what they really wanted, to just eradicate the Palestinian population there. Starmer has this afternoon issued a statement reiterating his frankly untenable position, refusing to accept he's wrong, because frankly I don’t think he’s capable of it.
