Welcome to another Digimon video in which I open five Digimon Card Game: New Awakening Booster Packs. With Ghost Game still on hiatus, I thought I would keep the Digimon content going by opening some booster packs since I have so many of them. There were some cool pulls here, especially if you are an Armadillomon fan. I also pulled Captain Hookmon which reminded me of one of my favorite episodes from Digimon Ghost Game earlier last year. Welcome to my review of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Part 3: Stardust Crusaders (Episodes 25-48 which is also known as the Battle in Egypt)! Our heroes have finally arrived in Egypt and are joined by a new ally named Iggy who is a dog that can use a Stand. Oh no, not another dog in JoJo's! "Good freaking grief." The second half of Stardust Crusaders continues where the first half left off as our heroes continue to battle Dio's minions in the monster (Stand) of the week format, although there are more two parters. I particularly loved the battles against the D'Arby brothers and seeing Hol Horse again. Those episodes were great! Eventually our heroes face off against Dio in the final battle and there is only one word to describe it. KINO. Once again, David Production animated this series and it was originally released in 2014. Stay tuned for my review of the first half of Part 4: Diamond is Unbreakable later next week, as we skip ahead about a decade and change to a new protagonist, Josuke Higashikata. Welcome to my review of Fate/Stay Night (2006). Again, I have to preface that this is the 2006 version from Studio Deen because of the multiple endings from the visual novel and the remake from the 2010s, Unlimited Bladeworks. lol This series follows a bunch of high school students who have the ability to use magic and summon epic heroes in the form of servants who help their masters in the battle for the Holy Grail. The tone is a bit all over the place from slice of life, to humor, to mystery, to epic battles, to even a bit of romance, but I thought that it was done pretty well and I enjoyed watching Shirou and Saber's relationship grow throughout the series. The animation, music, and voice acting was all excellent and I look forward to watching more of the Fate series very soon. My next Fate review will be of Fate/Zero, the prequel to this series which follows the story of Shirou's adoptive father, Kiritsugu Emiya. Welcome to my review of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Part 3: Stardust Crusaders (Episodes 1-24 which is also known as the Road to Egypt)! This part jumps ahead a few decades to the year of 1987 as it follows a brand new protagonist, Jotaro Kujo who is the grandson of Joseph Joestar. Joseph makes the trip to Japan to help his grandson who believes he is possessed by an "evil spirit," which turns out to be something called a Stand, a Persona that has been awakened in all of the members of the Joestar family. Due to the reemergence of Dio, Joseph, Jotaro, and Muhammad Avdol set out for Egypt in order to defeat him once and for all while also saving Holly, Jotaro's mother and Joseph's daughter. Along the way, they meet allies like Noriaki Kakyoin and Jean Pierre Polnareff who seek revenge against Dio for being used as his pawns earlier in the story. This part follows a monster (Stand) of the week format with very creative and strategic fights as the boys go on a road trip from Japan to Egypt with a wide variety of transportation from planes, cars, trucks, boats, camels, and even a submarine (provided to them by the Speedwagon Foundation). This truly is the most "bizarre adventure" yet. xD David Production animated this series once again and it was originally released in 2014. Stay tuned for my review of the second half of Part 3: Stardust Crusaders later next week, as our heroes gain a new ally while continuing on their quest to defeat Dio. Welcome to the first part of my multi-part review series of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, starting with Part 1: Phantom Blood! This part consists of episodes 1-9 from the first blu-ray and follows Jonathan Joestar as he must avenge his father's death and defeat his adopted brother turned vampire, Dio Brando. Along the way he meets all sorts of "bizarre" allies from Robert E. O. Speedwagon, to Will A. Zeppeli, to the legendary hamon warriors, Tonpetty, Dire, and Straizo. Also, I forgot to mention this during the video, but David Production did the animation and this was originally released in 2012. Do not listen to the people who say to skip parts 1 and 2. Welcome to my review of Digimon Ghost Game Episode 64! This episode featured Dagomon as the monster of the week who was infected with a dark aura making him just as powerful as a Mega despite only being an Ultimate. There were a lot plot developments throughout this episode including the Digital World disappearing just as the internet went out in the real world, and Hokuto finally making his way back home along with his friend, Terriermon. Next week's preview looks awesome and after being skeptical about how they were going to end the series, I am a little bit more optimistic about the finale. This blu-ray released in late January and contains the blu-ray of the 2021 film, which is the first part in the trilogy of Progressive movies, as well as a 68 page art book. Welcome to my thoughts on/review of Atelier Ryza 2: Lost Legends & the Secret Fairy! Released in 2020 on the PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch, and PC, Atelier Ryza 2 takes everything that I loved about the first game and improves it. Instead of having a bit of an overwhelming crafting system like the first game had, the sequel adds a Skill Tree so that you can pick and choose which new items you would like to craft first. The combat is also enhanced by having action commands, so that you are not just sitting there mashing the X button. Pretty much every party member from the first game returns (minus Empel and Lila who are just npcs now), and I loved the new additions in Patricia, Clifford, Serri, and of course, Fi! Serri best girl by the way. I cannot wait for the release of Atelier Ryza 3, which is due to come out on March 24th. I will be doing an unboxing of the limited edition once it arrives at my house, so stay tuned for that.
