Those numbers appeared to also include those lined up outside the event – who waited hours for a shot at getting inside even after the event began. “I’m here tonight to declare we are going to turn New York City around, and we are going to turn it around very, very quickly,” Trump said after taking the stage, vowing to bring back safety and better schools to the city. “We are going to make New York bigger, better and greater than ever before.” It’s official: New York has somehow become the epicenter of Trump land. His rally simply defies all logic. It’s the first time a Republican presidential candidate has campaigned in the Bronx since President Ronald Reagan. Despite his nonstop legal woes, Trump’s popularity in New York is booming. Many might question why a Republican candidate would host a rally in a deeply blue area, but Trump did it – and it was huge. So who turned out for the event? Much of the crowd was made up of Hispanic and other minority voters, which is usually not the case at a Trump rally. President Donald Trump’s classified documents case set off fireworks as lawyers on both sides started yelling at each other in the Florida courtroom. Also, Judge Aileen Canon is worried that Special Counsel Jack Smith’s case might be too complicated for jurors. The made-for-TV spectacle continues in the never-ending lawfare against President Trump. As you likely remember, Jack Smith’s trial date against Trump is on indefinite hold because of “the myriad and interconnected pretrial . . . issues,” as Judge Canon described it. The judge paused the trial after reports came out that Rep. Jim Jordan (OH-4) had launched an investigation after Smith’s team had admitted to tampering with Trump’s classified documents. Before the trial can resume, several motions must be filed. So the hearing that took place yesterday was the first step in resolving these issues – and it became an epic screaming match. Much of the shouting yesterday revolved around whether or not Smith’s legal team had tried to bribe a lawyer by offering him a future judgeship. If true, in return, the lawyer was to pressure Walt Nauta, a former employee at Mar-a-Lago, into cooperating with Smith’s legal team. In other words, it was an obvious example of witness tampering. The prosecutor slammed his fist on the lectern, yelling that the claim was a “fantasy” and that the defendant had made a “garbage argument.” Eventually, the judge was forced to tell the prosecutor to “calm down.” And to top it off, the judge expressed concern that everyday citizens on a jury will be unable to understand the nuances and legal arguments of the case. She told the prosecutor that “real people have to decide these issues.” With outbursts like yesterday and the admission that the case might be too complicated for a jury to understand, it’s hard to determine when the trial will resume. Raisi, the “protégé” to the supreme leader, was considered the frontrunner to become the next ayatollah. Khamenei is 85 and has had a litany of health issues. Two different public reactions unfolded in Tehran after the news of Raisi’s death. Many mourned in the streets while other civilians celebrated and set off fireworks. Raisi had killed thousands of his own people, so many weren’t heartbroken over the news. The death of Raisi creates a power vacuum in Iran. It also raises a lot of questions. One primary question is, with the murderous “Butcher of Tehran” gone, will there be a chance for lowering tensions between Israel and Iran? The government in Iran is vulnerable right now for the first time in a long while, with an important election coming up within 50 days (as required by Iranian law). Maybe – and I know this is a longshot – the regime smartly reads the room right now and understands what the Iranian people want. CNN is set to host the first 2024 presidential debate between President Joe Biden and President Donald Trump. However, because of CNN’s debate rules, one key figure will be absent from the stage: Robert F. Kennedy Jr. A loophole shows that RFK can still possibly qualify for the debate, but if you only watch the mainstream media, you wouldn’t know it. The liberal media clearly doesn’t want RFK to pilfer any Biden votes. Axios reports on how RFK can still qualify: Kennedy might struggle to qualify for the June 27 CNN debate. But his campaign can now frame signing a ballot access petition — or mentioning his name to a pollster — as a way to stick it to former President Trump and President Biden. To qualify, Kennedy will need to hit 15% in four high-quality national polls and to be on the ballot in enough states to have a shot at 270 electoral votes. Perhaps motivated by cratering poll numbers, President Biden’s campaign team proposed to debate President Trump twice before the 2024 presidential election. President Trump wholeheartedly accepted the challenge, posting on Truth Social, “Let’s get ready to Rumble!!!” Now CNN will host the first debate on June 27. Today’s exciting development all started when President Biden posted a video challenging President Trump to two debates. He even quipped that he heard that Trump is “free on Wednesdays” – usually an off day for trials. Clearly, Biden was throwing some shade. The Biden campaign also issued a list of requirements for the debates. When we saw the requirements, we didn’t think Trump would agree to them, but he did very quickly. One of the main requirements is that the debate would be held on a mainstream news network – so CNN will host the first debate without an audience present. I’m very interested in seeing who CNN picks to moderate – and whether the moderator can avoid becoming an active participant. Further, the microphones will be cut off when a candidate’s time is up. An insightful viewer on today’s show asked if the microphones shutting off could hurt Biden since it takes him so long to formulate his thoughts. It’s a fair question. Most notably, Biden’s terms ensure that no third-party candidate will be allowed on the debate stage. We can all recall in the ’90s when Ross Perot played spoiler to President George H. W. Bush being reelected. He doesn’t want RFK Jr. there. The fact that RFK won’t be present at the debate stings a little. He’s polling around 10%, which is substantial. RFK could have a sizable impact on the election for those who don’t want to vote for either Trump or Biden. The scheduled debates are likely a very good development for President Trump because he’s been mired in negative news surrounding his never-ending trials. He will have the opportunity to shine on the debate stage, where he typically does well (even if the first presidential debate against Biden in 2020 didn’t go so well). Trump has a major advantage in having a strong economic record to tout. On the other hand, Biden can’t defend his economy at all. While Republicans took a victory lap, Democrats cautioned it was one poll nearly six months out from Election Day. But Biden allies acknowledged the president has work to do if he is to win reelection in November.” What does this poll say about the 2024 presidential election? While we still have a long way to go, President Trump has a significant lead in three of the six states mentioned. Poll numbers in favor of Trump could be devastating and even discourage some people from voting. Americans know firsthand what is happening in our country. And, despite President Biden’s claims that it’s “the best economy in the world,” the economy is playing a huge factor in Trump’s current lead. Voters are still hurting at the grocery store and gas pump. Besides a depressing economy, the poll may reflect issues of immigration. In the Southwest, they’re seeing this firsthand. The border is a national security issue impacting key swing states directly. While polls may not be a direct indicator of results, we know one thing for sure: Voting rules have changed. President Biden wants Israel to avoid going into Rafah at all costs – so much so that his Administration offered to give Israel intelligence on Hamas leaders if Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu would call off the operation. Biden’s deliberate withholding of war intel just fully exposed his anti-Israel agenda. The Washington Post broke the shocking news: “The Biden administration, working urgently to stave off a full-scale Israeli invasion of Rafah, is offering Israel valuable assistance in an effort to persuade it to hold back, including sensitive intelligence to help the Israeli military pinpoint the location of Hamas leaders and find the group’s hidden tunnels, according to four people familiar with the U.S. offers.” So not only did the Biden Administration have intel on where certain Hamas leaders were hiding, but even more despicably, the Biden Administration used this information as a bribery tool against Israel. We’ve watched Israel defend itself for seven months after Hamas’ attack, and the war could have ended much sooner if the Biden Administration had rightfully shared the location of Hamas leaders in Gaza. Don’t forget that Biden also just halted a weapon shipment to Israel over its upcoming invasion of Rafah. After these two recent actions by President Biden, we can now ignore his recent speech condemning antisemitism. The White House is actively undermining America’s greatest ally. And how long has it had this valuable intel that could have ended Israel’s war against Hamas? ACLJ Senior Advisor for National Security and Foreign Policy Ric Grenell reacted to the Biden Administration’s withholding of intel: “It makes me very angry to see how, once again, the Democrats are playing politics with intelligence.
