The bickering duo of Marvel are at it again: The trailer for Deadpool and Wolverine dropped today, and finds Ryan Reynolds‘ Deadpool and Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine doing what they do best.

“Hi peanut,” Deadpool says to a drowning-his-sorrows Wolverine. “I’m going to need you to come with me right now.” The trailer contains enough quips, fights, insults and R-rated verbiage to satisfy a universe, Marvel or otherwise.

Set to the tune of Madonna’s “Like A Prayer,” the new trailer for the Deadpool threequel was shared by Reynolds on social media this morning, a day after he did the same for a teaser.

The new movie following – by six years – Deadpool 2.

Deadpool & Wolverine is set to arrive in theaters on July 26. Shawn Levy is the film director, with Rhett Reese, Paul Wernick, Zeb Wells, Reynolds, and Levy credited as co-writers.

Hugh Jackman reprises his role of Wolverine in the Marvel film.

Check out the trailer above.
“I don’t know anything about saving worlds, but you do!” Lock & load, everyone!! Marvel + 20th Century have revealed the second official trailer for Deadpool & Wolverine, formerly known as Deadpool 3, the latest in his foul-mouthed, absurdly bonkers comic book movie comedy series. It’s time for the infamous Merc with a Mouth, Deadpool, to mess up the MCU by getting his tricky little fingers all over this superhero-filled multiverse. Even though this is technically Deadpool 3, he’s diving full on into the whole franchise and bringing Wolverine along with him to mess around with the past (and future). Ryan Reynolds stars once again as Wade Wilson / Deadpool alongside Hugh Jackman as Logan / Wolverine, and a cast featuring Morena Baccarin, Brianna Hildebrand, Matthew Macfadyen, Emma Corrin, Shioli Kutsuna, Karan Soni, Leslie Uggams, & Jennifer Garner. There are some hilarious scenes in this trailer, which is more of a smattering of the funniest moments they could show in a trailer than a preview setting up the story in this movie. I laughed out loud watching all this! Looks hilarious! I’m definitely in. What about you?

Still looks good? Who’s down?
Marvel‘s favorite frenemies are back in the second trailer for the hotly anticipated “Deadpool and Wolverine” — the third installment in the “Deadpool” series of films and the first set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

This time, Deadpool and Wolverine fight like bloody hell to the tune of Madonna’s “Like a Prayer.”

“I’m about to lose everything that I’ve ever cared about,” Deadpool tells Wolverine in the trailer, to which Wolverine responds, “Not my fucking problem.”

“Is that what you said when your world went to shit?” Deadpool retorts, provoking Wolverine to strike his crotch with those claws before Deadpool shoots him several times in the torso.

Cut to the two heroes chumming it up over lunch: “Wanna talk about what’s haunting you, or should we wait for a third act flashback?”

The threequel stars Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool and brings back Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine, whom fans last saw die in 2017’s sendoff movie “Logan.” The movie will introduce the iconic claw-bearing mutant and Merc With a Mouth to the MCU.

“Deadpool and Wolverine” comes nearly six years after the release of “Deadpool 2,” during which time we’ve seen the wrap of Fox’s “X-Men” film series and Disney’s complete acquisition of 20th Century Fox (which held the rights to the X-Men and Fantastic Four — the latter now also getting its first MCU feature film.)

Anticipation for Deadpool’s latest film is brewing. The first trailer for “Deadpool and Wolverine,” which debuted during the Super Bowl, broke the record for the most-viewed movie trailer within 24 hours with an astounding 365 million total views, beating out the previous holder “Spider-Man: No Way Home.”

The raunchy, R-rated superhero film sees Deadpool arrive in the MCU after being kidnapped by the Time Variance Authority, the multiverse manager last seen in “Loki,” and finding himself in the same world as the Avengers.

Shawn Levy directs the film, which also stars Emma Corrin, Morena Baccarin, Rob Delaney, Leslie Uggams, Karan Soni and Matthew Macfadyen.

Kevin Feige, Reynolds, Levy and Lauren Shuler Donner produce “Deadpool and Wolverine,” with Louis D’Esposito, Wendy Jacobson, Mary McLaglen, Josh McLaglen, Rhett Reese, Paul Wernick, George Dewey, Simon Kinberg and Jonathon Komack Martin serving as executive producers. It’s written by Reynolds, Rhett Reese, Paul Wernick, Zeb Wells and Levy.

“Deadpool and Wolverine” hits theaters on July 26.
Ryan Reynolds shared a new teaser and poster for the upcoming Deadpool and Wolverine movie.

“Look, eventually, you’re going to hang up the claws and it’s going to make a lot of people very sad,” Deadpool says in the teaser. “But one day, your old pal Wade’s gonna ask you to get back in the saddle again, and when he does, say yes. I’ve always wanted to ride with you, Log. Deadpool… and Wolverine!”

The teaser was dropped ahead of the full trailer release on Monday, April 22.

Deadpool & Wolverine is set to arrive in theaters on July 26, 2024. Shawn Levy is the film director, with Rhett Reese, Paul Wernick, Zeb Wells, Reynolds, and Levy credited as co-writers.

Hugh Jackman reprises his role of Wolverine in the Marvel film, which Levy said is not to be called Deadpool 3.

“As far as crafting the Deadpool and Wolverine story, I just felt privileged every day because you’re talking about two massive movie stars in their most iconic roles,” Levy told Screen Rant during CinemaCon. “It also gave me an opportunity. It’s the third Deadpool movie, but it’s not Deadpool 3. It’s a different thing that’s very much Deadpool and Wolverine. And it’s not trying to copycat anything from the first two movies. They were awesome, but this is a two-hander character adventure.”

Levy also teased that the film is “going to be gnarly” and “it’s gonna be funny,” adding that early screenings of the film “were extremely, extremely promising.”
