Fleisch Salat was one of the yummy recipes I learned when I was an exchange student in Germany- yummy, but not very good for me.

In Canada, many of our prepared luncheon meats have ingredients added that are not so good for our bodies.

By cutting up an English cucumber in similar sized chunks as you would bologna for Fleish Salat, you get a similar textured salad that is healthier and a bit easier on the pocketbook too.
