Ne-Yo has a response for EVERYONE who has a problem with his opinions.

Ne-Yo, whose real name is Shaffer Chimere Smith, is an American singer, songwriter, and record producer. He is known for his versatile music style, which includes R&B, pop, and dance genres. Ne-Yo gained significant recognition in the mid-2000s and has had a successful career as both a solo artist and a songwriter for other artists. Some of his popular songs include "So Sick," "Closer," "Miss Independent," "Because of You," and "Let Me Love You." He has won multiple Grammy Awards for his contributions to the music industry and has been involved in various philanthropic efforts as well.

Recently Neyo was asked in an interview about parenting and he shared his thoughts.

Neyo stated children should not be allowed to make life-altering decisions and that he was opposed to parents allowing kids to transition. Overall Neyo can be extremely problematic, but on this particular issue, Neyo got it right.

Well After becoming aware of these remarks, critics demanded that he apologize for his “insensitive” comments and remarks.

It was at this time that an apology was issued via Neyo’s Twitter Account.

Neyo then comes forward and posts a video to his Instagram clarifying his position on the so-called apology that his publicist had posted to Twitter.

So basically NeYo is saying he stands by what HE said, NOT the statement from his publicist!

Basically…He said, WTF he said.

Period!

With Ne-Yo, we are seeing an example of a shift in the mindset. Ne-Yo is standing on what he said and I can both appreciate and respect that.

He is entitled to his opinion. His voice matters, and he should never have to apologize for what he believes.

We need more like him to stand for what is right.

In closing…NEVER apologize for speaking the TRUTH. Stand on that. People are ALWAYS trying to bully and control what BLACK MEN have to say. They are told what to say…how to think. Who they can support and who they can’t!

Ne-Yo is an example of black men standing up and pushing back!

Thanks for listening!!!
