Part 2 of The Feasts and Festivals and God's Calendar - Prophetic Foreshadowings

Let's see what scripture actually says. We are not following the "traditions of men" who have perverted the scripture. This is God's word! And, if you don't know scripture, how do you know what you were taught and are being taught is the TRUTH?

Four of the 7 feasts occur in the spring of the year. They are "Passover", "Unleavened Bread", "First Fruits", and “Shavuot” (also known as “Pentecost”). These 4 Spring Feasts are summed up in only 19 verses of Scripture (Leviticus 23:4–22). These feasts represents the Messiah's first coming, which has happened.

The 3 final feasts, in the fall of the year, are in the Hebrew month of Tishri (September/October). They represent the events associated with the Messiah's second coming, which has yet to occur. These 3 final feasts form the basis for what the Bible calls "blessed hope" (Titus 2:13).

Jesus wants to be worshipped in spirit and in truth. This is what he wants. It is not up to me or you to change this to suit ourselves or to do what man says. Do what Jesus said. He warned us about the traditions of men.
These timelines of the feasts and festivals God gave to all of us, not just the Jews, are the same biblical timelines used for thousands of years. Jesus is our Passover. Jesus is our First Fruits. All these feasts and festivals prophecy and point to Jesus. They are a foreshadowing. Even as Jesus rode into the city on a donkey, the people sang from Psalms 113-118
