Bamboo is a monocarpic plant. Once it blooms it dies...cycle complete! Now new opportunities await!

Last year at least 75% of this bamboo stand bloomed and died back... so I cut it all out and now the rest of it is dying out.... this is what happens in bamboo forests I understand.... when Bamboo blooms out in 50 to 100 years the entire forest dies because it is all connected!
well there are a few green canes but im not sue if they will die soon as well... so it looks like it may be time to re do the entire bed!

it makes me think about my life and what has bloomed out? What has completed it's cycle? Where do I need to start Fresh??

That physical job is for later!
I'll keep you posted as to what happens next in the saga of "as the Bamboo dies" hehe!

Thanks for stopping by!
Love and Blooming Bamboo Hugs!
