Sneaky Patrick Brown loses again! Judge tosses trespass charge against David Menzies

Dear Marcum,
Today I want to update you on the Patrick Brown Hockey Night in Brampton saga.
For those who don’t remember, in 2020, I caught Brampton Mayor Patrick Brown red-handed using a city-run ice facility for personal use with his hockey buddies.
And guess what? Even though we caught Brown breaking provincial mandates and his own city's bylaws, he didn’t care. In fact, he continued to play hockey weekly.
I continued to show up at the Earnscliffe Recreation Centre to ask the mayor why children were forbidden to step foot on a sports field, yet he can play ice hockey to his heart’s content.
Let’s just say he didn’t like my questions, and instead of providing answers, Mayor Brown called the cops on me.
And I was charged with... trespassing?! I wasn’t even inside the rec centre, but rather, I was practicing journalism upon the parking lot of a taxpayer-funded facility. This is trespassing? This is worthy of getting handcuffed and put in the backseat of a police cruiser? Outrageous!
So, Rebel News hired legal eagle David Anber to handle my trespass charge, and we won!

Rules for thee, not for me, seems to be an ongoing theme throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.
It’s almost as if our politicians and public health bureaucrats don’t believe their COVID measures work. Because if they did, they wouldn’t be breaking their own rules, would they?
One thing’s for certain — if I am ever arrested at a recreational facility in the city of Brampton again, I know what lawyer to call.
