We got together as a community to pray the Rosary. We were just ending The Third Luminous Mystery, on The Preaching of the Kingdom of God. I began to see Jesus at the pillar. His hands are tied, with his body wrapped around this large and tall wooden pillar. He is completely naked with lacerations and gashes covering his entire arms, his neck, back, legs—all down his body. His skin is ripped open and hanging in some places with deep bleeding lacerations and wounds.

He can barely stand and his whole body is slumped and wrapped around the pillar. He has the crowns of thorns on as his head, and then slightly turns back as if he can sense that I am there. I just run towards Jesus immediately, wanting to cover his nakedness. I cover him with my body but am a bit hesitant at first as if I could sense that touching the wounds alone would cause Him much pain, but I don’t care and just wrap myself around him. I put my arms around his arms and my chest to his back to cover him.

I then realize I have a white wedding dress on and a veil that is now covered with much blood. I then take a step back, pull off my long white veil, and wrap his nakedness. I then wrap myself around him again as he now rests his bleeding wounded head with the thorn of crowns on my arms. I can feel the Lord’s sadness, the pain, the loneliness he’s feeling. As I close my eyes wanting to feel every lash, every wound so that I can share in his suffering so as to relieve him of some of the pain—for him to have some consolation that one of his brides is here to console, comfort, and to cover his nakedness

It is now my turn to begin the next mystery, the Transfiguration, but I can’t break away from what I am seeing. I read the title of the mystery and I pause as I’m still stuck and glued to what I am seeing and experiencing. I feel strongly Blessed Mother wants me to stay with Jesus, stay in that place. so rather than reading what is before me, I begin to put into words the picture of love suffering right before me. I begin to speak a meditation for each bead and realize it is no longer me speaking but Blessed Mother speaking through Me.

Our Mother of Mercy begins,
“Jesus’ hands are tied around the pillar. His Body is torn with deep gashes and cuts with His skin hanging. His nakedness is exposed with the crown of thorns upon his head.”

Hail Mary, full of grace. The Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death, Amen.

“He cries with tears streaming down his face. My Son looks so pitiful like a piece of meat hung to dry as he grieves for his brides who are still preoccupied with the world and the many souls who are so indifferent to his suffering and more painful, indifferent to his love.”

“He shivers from the cold not just because of the frigid air but from the coldness of the soldiers who gloat in such pride at their masterpiece of mutilating his body, from the coldness of these in the in the crowd who have no compassion for him or their fellow brother.”

“He shivers from the cold of those who have become spectators in this life. walking past the poor, the suffering, and not extending a helping hand. He shivers from the coldness of those whose hearts are hardened, the unrepentant and most painfully of all those who call themselves by his name, sit in the church but whose hearts are far from him. The Lukewarm.”

“My children, who will come? What bride will respond to come to my son, your Savior, and your spouse, to console him, to comfort him and to cover him who will come?”

“Go to him, my children, go to him, My brides, and look at the wounds of love. Use this decade to pray for all the sexual impurities of the world, the perversion of beastly, homosexuality, and sexual immorality. Each lash was for the sins of impurity of mankind.”

“Thank my Son for his Mercy towards you and taking away the shame of your sexual sin that he took upon himself in his nakedness during the courting for you that you may be clothed with his righteousness instead, thank him.”

“Pray for those who still tear at his body with division, envy, rivalry, false doctrines, different denominations, and judgments in the Church that have caused so many to tear at each other not realizing they are tearing his wound open all over again with every thought action of judgment, criticism, posturing and politics in the church.”

“Pray, my children, that his wandering bride would return back to her first love. Let go of every other lover and give their love whole heartedly to My Son, her God and her Savior.”

Wrap your arms around him, my children. My brides, cover his nakedness, cover his shame that he carried for you, allow him to rest his weary head on your arms. And when many have forgotten where many have not cared you be from him a faithful bride and tell him, Jesus I am here…I am here.

For in your nearness in your embrace he derives such consolation that you cannot not fathom. You have come, you have responded, now just hold him, and stay here.
