Die Anti-Migrations-Kundgebung von Pegida (Patriotische Europäer gegen die Islamisierung des Abendlandes) zum 7. Jahrestag ist am Sonntag in Dresden auf eine große Menge von Gegendemonstranten gestoßen. Die von mehreren linken Gruppen organisierte Gegenkundgebung übertraf die Pegida-Demonstration mit einer Teilnehmerzahl von über 2000 Personen am Nachmittag nach ersten Schätzungen. Die Polizei überwachte beide Kundgebungen, während eine massive "neutrale Zone" die Demonstranten auf dem Dresdner Altmarkt trennte. Pegida ist eine rechtsextreme Bewegung, die dafür bekannt ist, dass sie die Einwanderungspolitik der deutschen Regierung kritisiert. Zu den Teilnehmern der Kundgebung gehörten auch die Jugendgruppe der AfD (Alternative für Deutschland), die Identitäre Bewegung und Anti-Impf-Gruppen.

The anti-migration Pegida (Patriotic Europeans Against the Islamisation of the Occident) 7th-anniversary rally was met by a large crowd of counter-protesters in Dresden on Sunday. The counter rally - organised by several left-wing groups - surpassed the Pegida protest with a participatory count of over 2000 people in the afternoon, according to first estimations. Police could be seen overlooking both rallies as a massive 'neutral zone' separated protesters on Dresden's Old Market Square. Pegida is a far-right movement that has been known to be critical of the German government’s immigration policies. The AfD (Alternative for Germany) youth group JA, the Identitarian Movement and anti-vaccination groups were among participants of the rally.

La manifestación del 7º aniversario de Pegida (Europeos Patrióticos contra la Islamización de Occidente) se encontró con una gran multitud de contramanifestantes en Dresde el domingo. La contramanifestación -organizada por varios grupos de izquierda- superó a la protesta de Pegida con un recuento de participación de más de 2000 personas por la tarde, según las primeras estimaciones. Se pudo ver a la policía vigilando ambas concentraciones mientras una enorme "zona neutral" separaba a los manifestantes en la Plaza del Mercado Viejo de Dresde. Pegida es un movimiento de extrema derecha conocido por sus críticas a las políticas de inmigración del gobierno alemán. El grupo juvenil JA de AfD (Alternativa para Alemania), el Movimiento Identitario y grupos antivacunas se encontraban entre los participantes de la concentración.
