Israel is calling for sanctions to be imposed on Iran'smissile project after Iran launched an unprecedented attack on Israeli territory.

A wave of missiles and drones were fired from Iran,Iraq, Syria and Yemen on Saturday, with most beingdowned by Israel and its allies.

Tehran said the attack was retaliation for thepresumed Israeli air strike on its consulate in Syria on1 April, in which 13 people were killed.
