Hoyle breaks his word AGAIN, but replacing him won’t change anything.

Lindsay Hoyle for the second time breaks his word to the SNP on a Gaza ceasefire motion, but his possible replacement might be worse!
Right, so the business of Speaker of the House of Commons Lindsay Hoyle allowing motions from both the government and Starmer’s Labour Party on SNP Opposition Day, the fallout from that rumbles on, and does so pretty much because Hoyle is still putting party politics before the needs of Palestine. If you’ve watched my other related videos on this story of our parliament pretty much collapsing into a farce of politicians falling all over each other to prove who is the most pro Israel, you’ll know that after Hoyle apologised for bending the rules and Letting Labour’s motion in, against the Standing Order on opposition day motions, Standing Order 31, bending the rules; he promised to make it up to the SNP, by invoking another Standing Order, number 24, to grant them an emergency motion on Gaza, but not liking that either, he’s broken his word again and binned it. The calls for Hoyle to go will get ever stronger, more and more MPs are signing an Early Day Motion demanding he resign, but even if he did, his likely successor, would potentially be even worse.
Right, so Hoyle has done it again. After sidelining a Standing Order without taking a vote to legitimately do so, he’s literally done it again, a different Standing Order, but it is the SNP and Palestine who are told their voices in Westminster do not matter.
You see the SNP wanted to bring forward a meaningful vote, a Brexit inspired move, which would be an advisory vote unless Hoyle made it otherwise, but would also be unamendable and when the purpose of the SNP’s motions on Gaza have been to not only highlight the plight of tens of thousands of innocent Gazans, trapped with nowhere to go, when tens of thousands of them have already been killed, but also to expose and shame the other two main parties for not supporting Gaza and not censuring Israel as we know they would do, both main parties very much influenced by the Israel Lobby, with some three fifths of Labour frontbenchers having taken donations from the Lobby and about a third of Tories. If they just did the right thing, they’d have nothing to worry about, but they can’t afford to, the donations and maybe any dirt the Lobby has on them would be at stake if they did, such is how these parties and how they are run are compromised.
The SNP meaningful vote however, also this time demanded an end to arming Israel and that the UK must use its voice at the United Nations to act accordingly, no more sitting on your hands at the Security Council and abstaining while the US continues to veto a ceasefire for example, is how I read that. Well SNP Westminster leader Stephen Flynn yesterday asked Hoyle why that SO24 emergency motion was not accepted and when it will be and this is what Hoyle waffled in response:
So basically Hoyle brought up the two criteria by which he measures emergency motions as a reason to refuse the offer he made to the SNP.
