"Friends, theses verses are so deep (Matthew 7:21-23-21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. 22 Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ 23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’).
It lets us know that a person can do so many wonderful thing for God throughout their lifetime and still be rejected by Christ on judgment day because they refused to repent and turn from sin and therefore God counted all the good that they had done as nothing because they were not obedient. What ultimately matters to God is our obedience to His commands, which is demonstrative of His lordship in our lives and our love for Him (Romans 10:9, John 14:23,24). Brothers and sisters, please don't let this be your story. The salvation of your soul is the most important thing in this world. Everything else is temporary, including the pain experienced from having to deny your own will in exchange for God's.
