What Is the Indwelling of the Holy Spirit?

The gospel says the Spirit of God dwells in every child of God. This is not the same as miracles and spiritual gifts, so what is it? The word also says the Father and the Son dwell in us and in one another and we dwell in them! When we understand how they dwell in us, we will understand how the Holy Spirit dwells in us.
