The Spirit of Fear - and how you can overcome it

Most young people believe humanity is “doomed”. Fully 75% of them view the future as “frightening”. Many people are fearful, and stressed. Certainly, we live in turbulent times. There’s much chaos, destruction and confusion. Global instability. Gender confusion.

The Bible foretells a time of fear: Luke 21:26 Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.

We are being assaulted by a spirit of FEAR. A campaign of fear is being waged on humanity. Panic, stress and fear drives the New World Order plan. Basically, it’s psychological conditioning to extract obedience and compliance.

There’s much that has happened, especially in recent times, to subvert, control, and suppress freedom. We've seen a trampling of individual liberty, with some governments implementing harsh restrictions and demanding compliance to draconian measures. I’m talking escalating tyranny and enslavement.

There’s yet more serious storms ahead of us. We face a period of divine judgment. Yet the Bible yet tells of a sure source of hope and peace: 2 Timothy 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

The Bible tells of signs to look for: Matthew 24:7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.

Lately we’ve had some two years of fear and compliance, and much scare-mongering. Much damage has been done to people’s mental health from lockdowns and isolation. A lot of oppressive rules forced on people. Australia has wasted billions of dollars on lockdowns.

Is the object health and protection of people, or is it about control - global authoritarianism? One day the Antichrist will enslave the entire planet.

We’re being constantly told, trust the science.

There’s much preoccupation now on “Saving the planet.” And net zero. We are being told to stop eating meat to combat climate change. There are threats to the world’s food supply. There’s talk of a food apocalypse coming. The Bible tells of famines…

Digital rationing and Digital wallets are coming. There’s talk of an economic collapse - the world is teetering on the brink of recession. Digital currency is unlike the money in your bank account or cash in your pocket. This new trackable money can be ‘programmed’ and controlled by the state.

It seems that Central bank digital currency (CBDC) can threaten freedom. It can mean an authoritarian social control mechanism.

“The internet of things” threatens a full 24/7 surveillance of everybody, everywhere, all the time, including your biometric data such as blood pressure, body temperature, facial expressions, bodily functions.

We are witnessing a delusion of the masses. The elites are playing mind control games. It’s behaviour modification - brainwashing. There’s been much indoctrination… The mass media is in the control of powerful players. The fear narrative helps their agenda.

The mainstream media are suppressing the truth. They want to silence any dissent or debate. We are witnessing “mass formation psychosis”. There has been - and is - a steady conditioning of people to accept the state sanctioned narrative.

We can anticipate that the final world government will have total political power, total economic control and total religious authority. Technology will make this all happen, conditioning us to accept all this. Deception has taken over complete churches, and it is happening on a spiritual level.

In contrast to all of this fear and despair we can have HOPE. In turbulent times and times of fear such as this, it’s all the more reason to turn to God’s book… to get God’s answers for our soul.

Luke 21:9 But when ye shall hear of wars and commotions, be not terrified: for these things must first come to pass; but the end is not by and by. Be NOT troubled. FEAR NOT.

It’s interesting how our Lord tells us, in such times, that we actually are to be looking for HOPE. The Blessed Hope. Titus 2:11-15 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, 12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; 13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ...

A scared world needs a fearless church. Deuteronomy 31:6 Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the LORD thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee. Step out of the comfort zone

Paul says, don’t be shaken in mind or troubled in your spirit, 2 Thessalonians 2:2.

In the believer’s heart we know the One who rules over all worlds. In His hands are the destinies of nations… We can know a complete trust in Him.
