Post-illness shredz 🦠🤢
Easing myself back into my normal workout regimen after I got hit with some stomach flu thing or whatever it was (sure as hell felt like a stomach flu 😓). It was bad enough that I had to do something I haven’t done in a long time, which was miss gym sessions and not be active active at all. And by not active, I mean like I was straight up on the couch eating chicken noodle soup and barely moving 🙃
No matter how fit & healthy you are, you’re still human and you’re going sick every once in awhile, so this is a friendly reminder to listen to your body, learn to recognize the difference between feeling tired from working out and feeling outright sick to know how far you can push yourself, and that missing a few days isn’t going to ruin your physique.
