Fairy Tail Volume 48: The Definitive Demon - Manga Review

Welcome to my review of Fairy Tail Volume 48 by Hiro Mashima. The Tartaros arc continues with the final battles against the demons. Acnologia vs. Igneel, Natsu, Gray, Sting, and Rogue vs. Mard Geer, and Erza vs. Kyoka. I had some nitpicks in this volume, particularly with the placement of the first chapter because of the "20 minutes prior" quote in the very next chapter, but overall I still enjoyed it. The fight with Mard Geer in his Etherious form was just incredible, especially with Gray using his new demon slayer powers. There were also some great surprises at the end with the other dragons and even Ichiya joining the battle.
