On today’s show, Dr. Ben interviews Dr. Sucharit Bhakdi about the new book “Corona, False Alarm?” that he co-authored with his wife, Dr. Karina Reiss. In the book, they call to question the validity of the information and response to the current COVID-19. He explains why COVID-19 really isn’t much different that other coronaviruses that we have experienced, which is why the virus name wasn’t fully changed. He also shares the history of how the WHO changed the definition of “pandemic”, which has allowed them to name COVID-19 as a pandemic. Dr. Ben asks Dr. Bhakdi to share some of the facts surrounding the virus from its earliest occurrences in China. During this explanation, he touches on the PCR test, which Dr. Ben has shared about in some of his Facebook live videos. This of course, leads them in to a discussion about how deaths have been labeled during this “pandemic”. During the second half of the show, they discuss the “straw that breaks the camel’s back”. Dr. Bhakdi explains how we shouldn’t be focused on that “last straw”, but the preexisting conditions that bring you up to that last straw. Of course, this lines up very well with the Veritas view of stewarding your health and terrain. Dr. Bhakdi touches on something we get asked often - why was Italy hit so hard? Dr. Ben and Dr. Bhakdi finish the show with an in-depth discussion about masks and vaccines.
