High Poly to Low Poly Baking using Multiple Programs (3DS Max, MudBox, ZBrush)
A tutorial showing how to create a low poly asset that fits the size and shape of the High Poly asset near perfectly, so that the normal map bake from High Poly to Low Poly assets, works perfectly. I used 3DS Max, MudBox and ZBrush to accomplish this, but you could do this without Mudbox, I just am not that good with ZBrush yet, or Mudbox fully, but use Mudbox enough to sculpt and add details to create a High Poly asset, and ZBrush to simply retopologize quickly using ZRemesher to create a Low Poly asset to bake to. This video was recorded in 1080p @ 60fps but upscaled to 4K @60fps using MAGIX Vegas Pro and the "Smart Upscale" filter. I'm also using a new microphone, the FiFine T669 and wanted to test it out. I also used OBS with Microphone filters, as well as Audacity to further fix the audio post process. Let me know if it sounds better!
