Forgiveness offers you power over all the thoughts that now seem to have power over you. Forgiveness frees you from thoughts that chain and hold you captive to the ego’s world. Forgiveness offers you the opportunity to recall and redefine each moment as the opportunity for growth that it truly is. Today, ask yourself, “Is forgiveness really such a high price to pay for my freedom, peace of mind and joy — for helping me align with the mind of God?” Today, be courageous and become the hero of your own journey. Look deep into the mirror and say to yourself, “I forgive because I am worthy of God's peace of mind and joy.” Do not get frustrated if this is a bridge that you are not ready to cross yet. Each and every person we meet along the way is a part of our sacred plan. We have all made a spiritual commitment to each other. This is not by chance, coincidence, or good or bad luck. These are spiritual contracts that are being fulfilled for the betterment of our souls and of all mankind. It is the ego’s directions, having us take one dead end road after another, that have led us to this sense of hopelessness. As we awaken from this haze, we realize that there is only one way out of the ego’s maze, and that is to rise above it. Today, together, we rise above it by offering hope to those who thirst for it. Hopelessness is simply a symbol of this thirst. Hopelessness manifests itself within the ego’s maze as judgment, anger, resentment, hate and revenge. To them lost in the ego’s maze, let us hold out the hands of forgiveness and compassion, lifting them out of the darkness and back into the light. No longer do they need to search for hope where no hope lies. No longer need they search for their truth anywhere within the ego’s dream. How much more of our life do we have to sacrificed to judgment, anger, resentment and revenge before we finally realize that we are not who we have been programmed by the ego to be. No matter how normal and natural they may feel, these energies in no way represent any part of the Love that is our true essence. In fact, those individuals who the ego has trained us to condemn for our pain and suffering are actually the ones who are helping release us from our pain and suffering. Today let us stop buying what the ego is selling, and let us instead, through free will, make it a conscious choice to turn our pain and suffering into peace and gratitude. Peace and gratitude because it is actually these individuals participation in our life experience that is allowing us the opportunities to bring into physical expression the false programs that are separating us from our true essence. Let us not get discouraged if our road from anger to peace does not appear to be a straight line. Like rivers that flow naturally toward the sea, it is in our life’s twists and turns where so much of its beauty resides. And just like rivers, we each end up where we belong at our own sacred pace and time. Today, if others offer us opportunities to deal with our anger, let us be grateful to them. In truth, they are offering us opportunities to practice choosing forgiveness over anger, and thus peace over pain. Today, if the ego demands that we judge ourself or others, let us recall that we have free will. Then let us confidently and calmly deny the ego’s demands. Now, knowing that the ego’s judgment-centered roads do not lead us to the states of peace and non-judgment, let us look for a wiser and more loving Advisor. Whereas the ego’s judgment-centered programs lead us to confusion and chaos, God’s loving expression of forgiveness leads us to clarity and peace. Today, let us notice that we end up experiencing what we focus on. The choice of what we focus on is always ours to make. The more our thoughts, words and actions are focused on achieving a state of peace, the more peaceful our experiences will be. Equally so, the more our thoughts, words and actions are focused on chaos, the more chaotic our experiences will be. So let us practice making peace our focus today. As we do, we will reduce how much we blame the outer world for how we feel. The less we blame the outer world the, and we will take greater personal responsibility we take for our experiences. The more we make peace our conscious focus, the more it becomes the foundation of our experiences will become our natural state. In the end, after all is said and done, thanks to free will, it is we who get to decide how much peace we experience. Today, remember that we experience what we place our thoughts and focus on. Thus the world we experience is not so much a function of what seems to be happening “out there,” but is instead a reflection of the thoughts that we are choosing to entertain. If we focus on the thoughts and energies of anxiousness, worry and stress, then our world will become a reflection of these fear-based patterns. Yet if we place our full focus on and trust in the Divine, then peace will become our constant companion. No matter how badly these thoughts and emotions treat us, why do we keep buying what they are selling? When will we look at our own balance sheet and finally see that we are receiving nothing in return for our investment in them except our complete loss of peace and joy. And so today let us take a stand against every illusionary swampland/programmed response that the ego’s world has ever tried to sell us. Today we consciously choose to stop supporting thoughts and emotions that are not supporting us. How would you like to let go of nothing and receive everything in return? How would you like to end the nightmare of judgment, anger, resentment and hate, and gently wake up safe in your Father's arms? Being judgmental, angry or fearful does not make us bad or weak. They are simply signs of a mind that is asleep to its loving nature. As Love’s creations, no matter how many egocentric dreams we dream, when we awaken, we will always do so in our Father’s arms. Feel the deep love you have for your children. , Then multiply this love by infinity and eternity, this is the love God has for you, His child. What solutions has the ego’s thought system ever truly offered us? Is it not time for us to at least consider another way? Imagine for a moment that we are Love’s creation, and thus that we are only Love. Imagine this Love only having two expressions; love, or a call for love (a call for assistance). Imagine if in any moment you perceived your brother doing something that has caused you thoughts of judgment, anger, and revenge, was now understood as a moment were not only he is he asking for assistance, but because we are all One, so too are you. Yes, you have unconsciously asked your brother to help you bring forth to your conscious awareness those areas in your life where you still perceive the ego’s thought system as real, that reactions and expressions of judgment, anger, and revenge, are correct and proper responses to God's creation. And so today we offer gratitude, not judgment, for our brother’s participation in our experience, and for helping us remember that we no longer desire to support the ego’s thought system as having a place in our consciousness. ... If our thoughts have trapped us in a world of judgment, anger, and chaos, then know, that it is also our own thoughts that can set us free. When we realize that only our thoughts can hurt us, we will stop directing our attacks outward and start working on challenging our own internal dialogue. When our internal dialogue becomes more reflective of the truth in us, of the loving energy that created us, it is then that the desires for judgment, anger, and chaos, will begin to diminish. For we are all One, and thus what we consciously or unconsciously think about ourselves, will be in one way or another projected onto this world. Our thoughts of Oneness/Love will help remind us that there is no one ‘out there’ to attack, and so no one ‘outside’ of us that can attack us. If there is no one you must defend against, then the ‘outside’ world once again becomes a safe, loving, and peaceful place. Once the ego’s illusionary thoughts cease to have effect on us, it is then when true freedom from them will be experienced. ... Yet the ego would insist that kindness can be limited, and that it must be rewarded with gratitude in order for this well to be refilled. According to the ego, if kindness is not rewarded then you are on the losing end of a transaction, a mathematical formula that proves the scarcity of God. But what has been gifted to you by God, the ego’s world can never take away, and thus is forever yours. And so today let us remember that what is in truth eternally ours, always increases as we shared it. It is kindness, as a representative and extension of Love, that reminds us of our Oneness. When the moment is fully placed in God’s hands, worry, stress, and anxiety dissolve. Today when the ego once again insists that worry, stress, and anxiety are the sane solutions to our situation, instead let us offer completely and wholeheartedly that moment over to God and finally find peace. Today when the ego tries to sell you the insane as sane, stop and say to yourself: “Father/Mother I now release this moment over to You knowing that my highest will and Your Will are One. I now fully and without hesitation or reservation release the insane thinking the ego would burden me with and instead allow for sanity, I now make the conscious choice to value trust more than worry, to value Your Peace over my ego’s pain, I now, through free will, allow for Your Will to be done.” ... We are the Love that created us. This Love is All, and thus only the Love in us is real. There is no opposition to All/Love. Yet in a world of duality the ego makes illusions seem real. One such illusion is the idea of anger. When anger appears, it is simply showing us where we are seeing and experiencing the illusion as real. Therefore what we are actually trying to do is eliminate that unconscious block (anger) we have that is “separating” us from the awareness of love. Thus the people, who ‘bring out’ this anger in us, are the ones who we should be thanking, not cursing. Our highest self understands what blocks we are holding unto, thus it calls out to the Universe for help in bringing these blocks out of our mind and into the physical experience. It also calls out to those individuals who can best help us physically manifest our illusionary thinking. This experience helps us better see and understand what is separating us from Love. Forgiveness dissolves all illusionary blocks and once again aligns us with the state of Love. Today let us offer gratitude, not judgment, to those who are helping us align once again with our natural state. ...
