This past week, Sony took the stage with their first official State of Play showcase of 2023 and revealed a ton of exciting upcoming releases. As well, Microsoft, Activision-Blizzard, and several other companies met in Brussels to challenge some of the EU regulators' claims and some interesting developments came to light. The gaming news cycle seemed to be dominated by Xbox this past week. On top of their Developer Direct showcase where we got a great glimpse at some 2023 releases, we also got some juicy tidbits regarding the Activision-Blizzard FTC lawsuit and an update on their most recent financial quarter. When a grade school student with hearing loss is mercilessly bullied, she transfers to another school. Years later, one of her tormentors decides to make amends. This anime is not for the faint of heart, and it depicts emotional trauma, so I cannot recommend it if you are easily triggered by such things. However, if you can deal with the story and trauma and accept it for what it is, this film is incredible to watch and can teach you many life lessons. Death is one of many mysteries that have baffled humanity since the dawn of time. As another school year comes to an end, third-year high school students look forward to the next step in their lives: graduation.
