It did say, “MatSu Borough Library Committee Challenged Books”. Due to the cow the board is having over a “Title”. It has been updated.

Alaska Schools are Ranked “Dead Last” in the Nation. They think the moment we enroll our children into Public Schools that our children belong to them & our Parental Rights end. Diversity,Inclusion & Equity has become more important to indoctrinate our child with. Then to be taught Reading, Writing & Arithmetic. That having access to “Porn” is more important than providing our children a Quality Education.

The Extremist Left don’t care they are breaking the Laws we have regarding our children. They openly admit they are all about destroying the nuclear family.

Below is what a staunch advocate for accountability within our schools “Liberty Chick” has to say about todays Challenged Book Hearing. Apparently Mental Illness runs deep in the leftist cult running our education asylum.

📚THE NEXT CHALLENGED BOOK HEARING IS 1/18 at 10am.📚

📕The MatSu Library Board doesn't want to hear from the public. There was a meeting on 1/9 at 1pm, but they cancelled it. Essentially, the only chance for the public to speak to the board before the next challenged material hearing on 1/18 at 10am WAS ELIMINATED. As you all know, these hearings might as well be closed, because they DO NOT allow any public input. It's an absolute farce.

📗So really, if the public wants to speak about challenged books, the ONLY options are to go to the assembly meetings, the city council meetings for Wasilla and Palmer, or to go to the library board meetings.

📘Not only that, the location is always at a different library, and the board does not give a lot of notice for the date or the time. You have to really dig and seek out the information to even be informed. I believe the public needs to start making more noise about how difficult it is to be heard by this board. They do not make much effort to publicize their meetings. They bury it in a calendar where you have to even know where to look to find it.

📙By the way, members of the PUBLIC showed up for the 1/9 meeting only to find it was canceled without notice. So really, the opportunity for the library board to be heard by the public regarding the book challenges is simply NOT there. This is a huge concern.

📕What do WE THE PEOPLE need to do for these board members to hear from us? The only thing that is clear is that they believe they don't need to be accountable to us.
