GATLINBURG ADVENTURE THEME PARK EMBARKS ON A $34 MILLION MULTI-PHASED EXPANSION PROJECT
After a successful and fun-filled 2022, Anakeesta is excited to announce new park additions and schedule for the 2023 season.

Starting Jan. 5, Anakeesta is launching its Pay for a day, Adventure all year deal to Tennessee residents. For a limited time, Tennesseans can purchase an annual pass to visit the park for the price of a single day admission! For the price of a single-day adult or child admission, guests can come back to visit free as often as they wish for one year from the date of purchase. Guests must purchase the pass online in advance of their visit. The pass is valid for one year from the date of purchase.

After a debut last October, Astra Lumina, the enchanted night walk that encourages guests to reach for the stars and explore an astral magic experience through the Smoky Mountains, continues as an add-on experience and reservations for 2023 are currently available online.

In the Spring, Anakeesta will debut its first double-rail coaster, Hellbender, a thrilling new mountain coaster that twists and turns along the mountainside giving guests an exhilarating downhill adventure. This new coaster is themed to reflect the local Smoky Mountain salamander
species, and its introduction will offer both a single-rail and double-rail mountain coaster experience for the entire family to enjoy.

The park will also expand its adventure offerings this summer with new attractions for the young and young-at-heart. BirdVenture, an aviary-inspired adventure zone where guests play and imagine life as a bird in the Smokies. Kids of all ages will explore three colorful, larger-than-life
bird houses, a dozen interactive adventure zones, and seven giant serpentine slides winding more than 50 feet down the mountain! This unique series of slide paths marks another first of its kind in the United States.

Guests will have a fresh chance to fulfill those shopping desires. Anakeesta will open two new themed retail areas. The first of the changes will be along the Parkway. As Savannah Bee Company closes up shop, Anakeesta will transform the storefront into a brand new adventure retail space, Great Outdoors Trading Company. The second, Elk Exchange, will be located alongside the new Hellbender mountain coaster. Details of what the new development will look like will be coming closer to the opening date.
