Treat your Valentine 💕with these decadent homemade Chocolate CBD Truffles. This is an easy no-bake dessert option that comes together with just a few ingredients. Here’s what you’ll need 👇

Ingredients:
• 169g (about 6 oz) dark or milk chocolate🍫, finely chopped
• 70g (about 1/3 C.) heavy cream 🐄
• dash of sea salt 🧂
• 1/4 tsp vanilla
• 1-2 droppers of your favorite CBD (we used the NEW limited edition Chocolate Strawberry flavor 🍫)

Directions:
1. Place the chocolate, salt, and vanilla in a heat-proof bowl. Set aside.
2. Slowly heat the cream on the stovetop on low or in the microwave at 50% power for 60-90 seconds until hot, but not boiling. Pour over the chocolate and allow to sit untouched for at least 5 minutes.
3. Stir the chocolate and cream until the chocolate is completely melted and smooth. Then, stir in the CBD extract. Allow the mixture to cool for 15 minutes, then refrigerate for 1-2 hours (or overnight) until the chocolate is firm.
4. Remove the chocolate from the fridge and let it sit for 20-30 minutes at room temperature until you can easily scoop the chocolate. Use a melon baller or a small cookie scoop to make balls of chocolate.
5. Roll the balls of chocolate between your hands until a round, smooth ball is formed. Then roll in desired toppings. (Pro tip: Use food-safe disposable gloves as this process is messy)
These are best enjoyed at room temperature and will keep up to 4 days in an air-tight container or store in the fridge for up to 2 weeks. Long-term storage is up to 3 months in the freezer in an airtight container.
Want to add a kick? Truffles infused with alcohol are so amazing! Wait until the melted chocolate has cooled to the touch, then stir in 1 tablespoon of liquor. Flavors like rum, bourbon, Irish cream, or Kahlua are great options if you’re not sure where to start.
