Pretty good harvest this year. Time will tell how the anthracnose virus affected the cloves. And it'll be interesting to see how the weather this year will be compared to last. In order to save seeds, I've allowed the cucumber and tomato to be overripe, to ensure mature seeds. I will then ferment the seeds in water for a few days, then dry and store in a cool dry space. #seedsaving #harvest #nygardening 🌿Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/joyofthegarden

Probably could have given the ginger until a frost but I'm very satisfied with the harvest. This young ginger is very potent. The older ginger were the parents and in a more temperate climate might regrow new plants.
